shockingly obama's first press conference indicates he isn't going to be more central

I was a little disappointed. After he had the official Obama campaign seal, I figured he would be a lot more creative with his lecturn decorations than a simple blue sign reading "Office of the President Elect."

This man is foaming at the mouth and can't get to to Oval Office fast enough. Lovely to see so many seasoned Washington insiders being brought in to help bring change to America.

answer his question. How do you know chicagovolfan has more financial knowledge than droski.

That wasn't his question. Before you start telling me what to do you might want to actually read his post.

I manage my own finances and no one else's. I did obtain a series 7 and series 63 license while in my last semester of undergrad over 20 years ago.

same stuff we heard during his campaign. . .tax the rich. . . middle class people are the only ones that matter. . . corporate executives shouldn't make any money. . . etc etc etc. He also indicated he wasn't delaying any of his proposals. dow dropped 100 points while he was saying this.

He said that corporate execs shouldn't make ANY money? Wow. Well, at least you aren't exaggerating or anything.

if you think it's a coincidence that the dow has dropped 700 points since obama was elected with a majority than you clearly know nothing about the stock market.

maybe you should be the one to go and read the first few posts of this thread and see exactly who's post droski is responding to.

You're worth 300 million? Or are you are managing 300 million for your clients?

under management means he manages this money, so to speak. I know nothing of the markets, this is just common sense.

my point is passing your series 7 20 years ago has no relavance to knowledge of the stock market.

undergrad economics at UC berkeley (the greatest public university in the world). cfa charterholder. you must realize having an MBA doesn't mean you know squat about the stock market. what was your focus? what's your current job?

any retard can get a series 7 and 63. am i'm not joking.

And there are plenty of retards with CFAs and CHFCS with whom people foolishly use to invest their money. Understanding the stock market isn't anything remotely close to rocket science. Virtually anyone with half a brain could have made money in the stock market for the past few years though I am confident YOU are very competent.

I suppose after my intial response to you in this thread I should open my mouth and insert my foot

I do realize it. My knowledge of the market was learned through my father, couple of classes in undergrad, and most importantly, my experience investing my own money.

10% of people who take the first CFA exam finish the program. No "retard" could pass those exams. The fact you say that shows you know very little about the difficulty of the exams. The pass rate for the series 7 has to be 6 times that and the series 7 is taken by secretaries, milkmen, or any idiot thinking they can be a stock broker.

And the dow is down 17% in the last 2 years. I very much doubt any idiot could have made money.
