It's not racist to say "brown people" depending on the context, just like it's not necessarily racist to say "black people" or "white people". Calling Mexicans "rapists" is most certainly bigoted. Trump types cry about how sensitive everyone is about race, but they're just as quick to throw out "racist" and are just as, if not more, sensitive.
I can understand you being tired of watching that , it’s terrible . Can you see that the bill you want Trump to push and the senate to pass would not have stopped this sick individual from doing what he did ? My other question that nobody wants to address is what is an “ assault style weapon “ I read in other threads where people claim that “words matter “ when talking about what Trump says but suddenly when it comes to banning firearms they don’t .
How would anything in that Bill have stopped any of these shootings?I am just tired of watching the news and hearing about how a mom at Walmart shielded her baby and died saving it. Or how a teacher at Sandy Hook died saving kindergarten kids. How you can't go to a concert without wondering if there is some idiot out there--Or even a Tennessee VOLS game. (it certainly has crossed my mind)
If you have a problem with background checks, then I would assume that you have something in your background that would prohibit you from having a gun. In other words, if you beat up your wife, you don't need a gun anyway.
I was hoping that today, Trump would push for approval of this bill.
This is the gun control legislation Mitch McConnell won't allow senators to vote on
You should feel really safe in Mexico then?I live in Arizona. We have a gigantic immigrant and illegal immigrant population. Specifically, I live in Phoenix. Did you know it's one of the 5 safest big cities in America? It's also a great place to live. El Paso is also one of the 5 safest cities (prior to this white nationalist attack, anyway). So is San Diego. So is Austin....all 4 are big cities with large immigration populations in border states.
So you can use your red-state colored glasses perception of CA and Europe to argue against immigration, but I'll look at data and my own back yard and use common sense.
Nothing the loony dems have ever discussed would have stopped these just about any of these lunatics.Well then, how about just background checks on ammo and tax the **** out of it. You have to start somewhere.
I think if we had those laws in place, it would hinder those sick individuals. We own a gun to protect our home, but I'm certainly no expert. My husband was in the military. He has no problem with that bill.
Here's the wiki definition. That's all I got.

LOL.....So you don't see the difference?I would expect no less from you. It's only wrong when the other side does it, right?
You won't be the first.LOL.....So you don't see the difference?
The dems. are being stupid with the chant, but it's more or less a satirical response to the idiocy of the right. In that respect it's sort of funny.
As soon as one of the candidates actually leads the chant with a moronic grin on his/her face, I'll be the first on here to condemn it as being far beneath any person running for a public office and will further go on so say that no person should vote for a candidate that would stoop to such antics (unless of course the other candidate continually stoops lower)
Cloudfare announced that it is shutting down 8chan as it has “repeatedly proven itself to be a cesspool of hate.”
“The rationale is simple: they have proven themselves to be lawless and that lawlessness has caused multiple tragic deaths. Even if 8chan may not have violated the letter of the law in refusing to moderate their hate-filled community, they have created an environment that revels in violating its spirit.
"While removing 8chan from our network takes heat off of us, it does nothing to address why hateful sites fester online. It does nothing to address why mass shootings occur. It does nothing to address why portions of the population feel so disenchanted they turn to hate. In taking this action we've solved our own problem, but we haven't solved the Internet’s.
“Unfortunately the action we take today won’t fix hate online. It will almost certainly not even remove 8chan from the Internet. But it is the right thing to do. Hate online is a real issue.
I didn't even know 8chan was a thing.
That's your solution? LMFAO.If the price of bullets went up to $1,000 a piece we'd have a lot less mass shooting situations.
