Ok so answer this then, pretty straightforward…

If we’re in a tight game against Texas Saturday and Mashack and/or Awaka don’t see the court for 5+ minutes it’s because?

For the most part, like when he used to say how fast we were gonna play, or how he was gonna okay more guys to get his point across but never did.

So true. Barnes says we are going to play fast every year but with some exceptions doesn’t ever happen. This year we have the bodies, quality depth and defensive rebounding to play faster. Goodness knows we could use some easier buckets at times when our offense stalls.

Awaka is the BEST Rebounder per minutes played in all of College Bball..........he needs to play and next year he will be getting 10-15 rebounds every game

Barnes was asked about going 10 deep. He said that as long as they are doing their jobs (and I believe that he was talking about in practice for the most part, although if they are supposed to post up and are jacking up 3s that they are not doing what is asked of them), doing what is asked of them then they deserve (or have earned) the playing time. He also said that he will go with the hot hands, he said something about exploiting bad matchups. He did not say that he was going to distribute a predefined set of minutes.

You are an advocate for shortening the bench to 7 or 8 players. That is stupid when you have 10 contributors that are all buying in and and doing what’s asked of them.

Uros was the 10th and did not play. Isn’t that the game when he was throwing up before tip off. And he also turned his ankle somewhere in that general time frame.

I don’t know why you feel the need to interject you’re last douchey comment, but you keep on doing you.

Maybe you should try admitting that somebody has a valid point that conflicts with yours, acknowledge it, and move on. Instead you regularly drag out the pages long arguments that I’m right and you’re wrong.

History says you’re stupid for thinking that. But I’m sure if/when we don’t play 10 guys you’ll have some excuse as to why and say you never said otherwise that you were just repeating Barnes.

You talk in circles for pages with posters when you think they’re wrong, you’re just as bad if not worse, at least I say something rather than just go in circles. Or pick the worlds dumbest hill to die on and refuse to move, quite the pot meet kettle coming from you lol.

I have no issue with if @walkenvol has a different opinion, that’s what I’ve tried to clarify though and when I try to clearly get his opinion he avoids it.

If you think we will/should stay as 10 man rotation every game moving forward ok, that’s fine, I disagree but that’s fine.

What’s getting me is when asked that the switching it up and being like, well guys are getting what they earn, so maybe they won’t have earned minutes that game. So it’s still not Barnes shortening the rotation, it’s just other factors.

How often have there historically been 10 very capable contributors? How much history is there with NIL? How much history is there with immediate eligibility after a transfer been the rule? How often with those historically shorter benches was there not a clear star or 2?

Where is the history that “says you’re (me) stupid? Have you historically always taken the cheap shots when somebody makes valid points that contradict your arguments?

And if you check my posts you’ll find that when I post for pages YOU’RE in the middle of it trying to save face instead of acknowledging an opinion that differs from your own. I don’t attack posters like you do. I defend my points.
