I agree. Gray is an exciting color. Stands out in the crowd. Very aggressive. Pretty unique in it's own right. Should also lobby to change the school colors to gray and maybe off gray. Revolutionary change needs to come. Up with the exciting gray and down with the old worn out drab orange.






































































In case anyone is wondering....:crazy:

Just wear them for early season tourneys or special games like the whole SEC vs Big east/ACC/pac20/whatever

make me puke,it is orange and white,UT can be the Oregon of basketball with them purty new colors,sounds like Adidas wants to sell more jerseys to me

Im beginning to think some folks would find a reason to whine if Butch won the NC in his first year.

Its about creating a spark. Did you see the teams reaction? Not to mention the role it plays in recruiting.

To play devil's advocate (note I like the new gray uniforms fine), if say in 3-4 years UT football is at the same level or marginally better, would that prove new uniforms shouldn't be done, because obviously it would show they have no effect?

The only reason I say this is I think the "look at the player's reactions" and "it helps recruiting" lines are way overused and frankly I'm not sure either really has much to do with success. I've seen many "player reaction" videos to new uniforms for teams that don't end up doing any better, and programs that change up uniforms 2-3 seasons down the line aren't really any better.

To me it's simply a battle of those who want them and those who don't.

I'm telling you guys the grey ones won't look as good as the football unis. The orange to grey ratio is too big on sleeveless jerseys that aren't puffed out by pads. Could be wrong, but I think it could be a little disappointing from the fan's perspective (because the football unis are really good).

I think if the trimming is done correctly it will look good. Trimming around Tennessee in the front and numbers same with the stripe on the side could be good. It can either go really well or really bad lol.
