Should CBP hire Buzz Peterson as his talent evaluator/recruiter?

Isn't there a spot on the Henley Street Bridge for people who believe that Buzz should be brought back?

Still playing that broken record of BS? What's the matter still don't have anything else to add except trying to be hat-lite and telling everybody how stupid they are?

I don't know what's worse, insulting people and thinking you are actually making a point or copying someone's persona while doing so. Either way, it's pretty pathetic.

Yep, shockingly, I still think UK is more physical than Vandy. No, I usually don't have to tell you how stupid you are. Your posts do the job beautifully.

Well, the good news for you is that you are still very impressed with yourself, if no one else is.

Regardless, your whole obessession with this physicality thing is weird, how it identifies you as "stupid" vs. "not stupid". My apologies for expressing an opinion on the matter, I will be sure to run all my thoughts by you before I express them in the future.

By the way, I still stand by my position on Vandy versus Kentucky.

No, the fact that you think everyone is stupid for not agreeing with you is the arrogant part.

Not at all. But when people say things that rise to a abnormally high level of stupidity, I tend to tell them about it.

Why do you have to argue with and personally attack everyone in this forum?

Here, I'll make a legitimate comparison for you. When someone says that Vandy is more physical than UK or compares slavery to Memorial Gymnasium, that meets the stupidity threshold.

So, saying Vanderbilt is more physical than Kentucky, but the Wildcats are more athletic, talented and just better overral is "abnormally" stupid because......?

I'm glad, though, we have an arbitor to determine how to separate those who are simply wrong from the "abnormally" stupid. It's a giant relief for those of us unable to discern the difference.

Uh, I don't think slavery and an argument about who's more physical are nearly in the same ballpark, but, hey, you're the genius around here.

Welcome to the ignore list.

Why do people say that and think it's such a terrible thing? Oh no, please acknowledge me! I need your validation! Only those who have extremely overvalued opinions of themsleves (read:arrogant) bother to say it. The rest just do it, if at all. You and hat are the only ones I've seen do this.

By the way, should the fact that no one is supporting you here say something about your position? I mean, that was such a solid argument you used with me the other night.

Well, two points here.

One, Pearl made a living recruiting the "hungry" JUCO at his previous stops and was very successful doing so.

Two, have you taken a gander at our upcoming recruiting classes?

1) This is the SEC. A not-so-good SEC, but still, a major conference in Division 1. JUCO guys aren't near as prone to make a major difference as they would in the Horizon League.

2.) I have seen our next recruiting class, and I hope they make me eat my words.

Jerry Tarkanian made a living with JUCOs and cast-offs and Keith Smart was a JUCO that hit the NC winning shot. Plus, those JUCOs at UWM went to the Sweet 16 and would've again had Pearl stayed.

Regardless, I agree to an extent that JUCOs are not the way to go, but we've only had a couple in 5 years and they were stop gap guys, for the most part. It's not like we are relying on them. We've had as many transfers as JUCOs.

Ultimately, the problem has been that Pearl had to take more chances early on with players because we didn't have such a great name for ourselves. You can see that in the first class or two with the attrition rate. As time goes along, he and the program are more established and you don't have to gamble on guys like Ramar Smith anymore.

It's all part of growing pains. You can't expect to pick up guys like Lofton every day, though. The best shooter in SEC history doesn't grow on trees and it was a borderline miracle he was a Vol, not anything magical that Buzz did.

I have a feeling you have seen this phrase before. Keep trying to make yourself feel better about half the board ignoring you.

Actually, it's just hatvol that put me on the ignore, which was, as you can imagine, devastating.

However, I'm glad to see you're keeping with the theme of "nobody likes you", true or not. If I were in sixth grade, maybe that might sting, but, since I'm not, I have to laugh at those still trying to use that line.
