Exactly. I'm no Tim Banks fan club member but talent means so much these days. It's easy to look like a genius with NFL players all over your roster.

Case in point: Larry Coker and Ed Orgeron are tied with Steve Spurrier in NCs
True. But Fulmer stocked the talent pretty well for Chavis, yet they still were never great on 3rd down. So, coaches are usually going to look better with more talent, but there are still better coaches out there that scheme better with their talent.

"The guy who is coaching the most talented Bama team in history per 247 is doing better than us! Clearly he's a better coach!"-things dumb people say

Then we should let those players know we've got openings, get in the transfer portal, and we'll allow them to come play here. It's just that easy

Georgia and Alabama could both make the playoff with Washington and Texas, if Michigan and Florida State get beat, Florida State will have a tougher road tonight, you never know about Michigan, team played well while Harbaugh was in jail, will be interesting to see how it flows with him back on the sidelines tonight

It’s very clear watching this game we are just not there on a talent level yet. It pains me to say that.
Both UGA and Bama put in 2nd teamers and you couldn't tell the difference. We are a long way from their talent levels. Be hard to name one (1) of our players that would start for either team.

It’s amazing that after we had two former saban assistants as head coaches in Dooley and Pruitt that looked like all world recruiters and coaches under saban but failed spectacularly at UT, another saban assistant in Sunseri who was our worst defensive coordinator in program history that people think that all we need to do to fix something in our program is to hire a saban assistant.

No SEC team in the playoff. Kinda wanted UGA to fall, but wow, Sankey loves Bama. They held on key plays and got a bogus horse coller call. Guess beating Bama is just tough for all. No review on an incomplete pass that was a 10 point swing, but they reviewed the UGA long ball that was obviously a completion. No Bama conspiracy? I call ********!

If it was a conspiracy then Ga would have received the calls ti ensure a SEC team makes the playoffs.

The horse caller was a good call imo. There was one angle showing the defender having his hand inside the jersey.

Also, we don’t know if the catch wouldn’t been reversed. Personally, I think he had control of the ball as he went to the ground.

It was a well played game by both teams and a joy to watch without caring about the outcome.

I get it, but UGA fumbled and no way the Refs could have changed that. I saw obvious holds on key plays and they were not called. Sankey is a Bamer

Steeles defense gave up 70 a few years ago to WV in the Orange Bowl.
Ironically we tried to hire him away from Clemson a few years earlier. I think we had actually talked to him about the job that year as well I think when Randy Shannon fell through then the WV game happened.

I hear what you are saying but there was holding on all the games today. There was a play where a lineman grabbed the backside of the LB’s jersey to prevent the WB from being hit. The ref didn’t throw a flag.

Officiating is bad but I think the game is too fast for the number of officials. It happens in basketball, too. I can’t speak for hockey but bad officiating is a weekly conversation in the NFL, too.
