Should SEC get rid of Ole Miss?

As bad as I hate to admit it, if there is a team that doesn't belong in the SEC, it is my alma mater, Vandy.

They haven't been recently, like the past 15 years
:banghead2: we just don't pay attention do we?
Whatever.

From 1997 to 2002 they went to bowl games and in 2003 they won a share of the West title.

I'd say since then they've sucked, but 15 years is stretching it.
thank you.

and in 1989, the TN/Ole Miss game actually helped determine which one would win the conf.

but anway.........MSU and Ole MIss aren't going anywhere and they shouldn't. period.

Again I ask, how many national championships does Miss St have?
is that some sort of standard for inclusion?

Regardless of your absurdity, they have had strong basketball program under Stansbury and their baseball program was the top in the country for years back in the Will Clark, Rafael Palmeiro days.

No, Sir. They have maybe the best offensive lineman in the history of man or at least that book "The Blind Side" makes it out that way.

Seriously, No, that would be dumb.

As long as we are discussing fairy tales......
if Ole Miss gets kicked out, UT should leave and become an independent! Keep Alabama on the schedule and add Cal, a big ten team and then a bunch of cupcakes and we would be a ESPN darling and go to the BCS every year like OSU! :)

I'm just saying you can make a stronger case for Miss St to be kicked out of the league than you can Ole Miss. Miss St (even with their SEC baseball history) has added less than less to this conference than Ole Miss or even Vandy (the academic flagship of the conference).

I played football against Michael Oher in highschool...

He's a big, scary kid on the field.

I love Ole Miss being in the league. Their fans are so much fun to laugh at and ridicule.

Ole Miss should stay. It's Miss St that needs to leave. They've added nothing to the SEC.

How much has South Carolina or Vandy added? I mean, I will take Ole Miss's two football national championships and Mississippi State's ability to field a competitive product in a major sport over a women's outdoor track and field championship and a women's bowling championship (respectively)
