We support a University, and a good portion of is live in an area drowning in suffering and misery from legalized opioid use. Let’s legalize pot, fix the opioid problem and if we have marriages and families ruined by pot we’ll talk about that later. If pot use in the South/ Appalachia is a puddle then Oxy/Meth are an ocean.

I don't even know what the point of that distinction is. America isn't as it was founded. That's not America. America is what it is now. She probably does hate a slave state. She probably thinks women should vote. I do too. I hope that you do too. Can you imagine being a proud American where we profess to believe all men are created equal but live in an instituonalized slave state where we don't let women vote? Holy ****, dude. What is your point?

The point is all of us most likely see aspects of our Republic we think could be improved upon.

Does not mean everyone is looking for “big change”. Not even close. What are you basing that on?

You don’t think there are some things that need big change? I’d say the majority of Americans have at least one big thing they’d like to change. Hell, one just happened. Millions of people wanted abortion to be banned. Now it is. That’s a big change.

I'm totally surprised this is what you're hung up on. You don't think everybody here on VN supports big change? I mean, let's just talk taxing and spending...you don't think 90% of us want big change there? That's one issue. How about ending the war on drugs. 40% of us, maybe? How about ending Obamacare and getting federal government out of health care? 70% of us? How about big changes with foreign policy? Regulation? Etc.

You and her disagree on what's best for America and neither of you hate it.

Ah so it’s cool for her to use her platform and express her opinions. But somehow expressing a negative opinion towards her, in your eyes, equates to not loving this country. Yea that makes total sense 🙄
