Should Vols invite Chris Blue to sing Natonal Anthem?

He's a music worship leader at Cokesbury UMC in town. He's toured for years and has already sung at MLB games and UT events in the past. But don't let facts get in the way.

Hahahahaha, you said facts. On Volnation, you really said it didn't you. Facts, here, on this site, I'm calling BS. You know this Forum fuels itself on pure unsubstantiated rumors and "inside" info from a "friend" that's close to a member of the team. We've got no time for facts my good sir!!!

No. With all of the world class singers 3 hours west of Neyland, none of them have been doing it. Blue can sing at basketball or at half-time.

Not at halftime. Don't cut the Pride's time.

After the game at TBA. Free concert and help me with traffic.

There've been lots of halftime guests performing with the POTSB. Boots Randolph, Charlie Daniels, Patti Page, Doc Severinson, Kenny Rogers, the Osbourne Brothers, Lee Greenwood.

Didn't he "earn" his way on to The Voice? Think they just pull any joe schmo off the streets for that?

I don't give a rats ass about The Voice. I don't watch it. The few times I have seen it, I was surprised PETA didn't show up on the behalf of the welfare of any dog within a 5 mile radius of the show. Isn't that the one where some so called recording "artist" turns their chair around because they want to coach the entrant? Sound alot like getting spiritual advice from Charles Manson. No thanks.

American Idol, X Factor, Americas got talent , etc... have people who actually recruit talent to be on the shows. It's rare for any auditioners to come in and seal the deal.
And since they all sign contracts before appearing on TV, I bet it's much harder to get him to sing unless it's televised nationally on their channel or permitted with his contract.
None of those shows are real.

You just sound ignorant of the subject at this point.

Your comment came too late. Deerpark already kicked off the *****fest.
