Should we worry if CBJ is successful?

Michigan State can't hold a candle to Tennessee on a whole.

Battered wife syndrome in full effect with this fanbase. Not everyone is a Kiffin.

This too. Even though this will be rendered a nonissue, no one in their right mind would leave Tennessee for Michigan State.

Its probably one of the best problems we could have as a program. If in 3 years, that's the biggest thing we're worried about, I'll be satisfied.

He said it is his dream job, I am not the least worried. He is totally committed, heard it and saw it myself.
I do worry some about losing some of the best coaching staff in the country as head coaching jobs come available everyone now knows where the best asst. coaches are and they will try to poach us

I think the only way he leaves here is he is either fired for failing or if he is moderately successful he leaves on his own because he doesn't think he can get it done here. If he is very successful, contending for championships he'll be here a long time.

No, he graduated from Ferris State University, not the University of Michigan or Michigan State. Second, look at this resume:

1990–1991 Rutgers (GA)
1992–1994 Wilkes (OC)
1995–1997 Ferris State (OC)
1998 Central Michigan (TE)
1999–2001 Central Michigan (RB)
2002–2004 Central Michigan (OC)
2005–2006 West Virginia (WR)
2007–2009 Central Michigan
2010–2012 Cincinnati
2013–present Tennessee

He has absolutely no prior connections, as a coach, to either Michigan or Michigan State. Cumulatively, his greatest prior experience is Central Michigan, he has already been the head coach there and this is a huge step up for him.

Dang man....can't you just enjoy the optimism of success instead of fearing it. Do you think most fans of successful programs across the country fear success? I mean it's a business and things are always subject to change, but that's the nature of today's game. Jump on board and try to enjoy the ride. Go Vols!

He is from Michigan. What are the chances he leaves to go coach Michigan or Michigan State, if he has the kind of success we all want him to have?

Why does this start every time. If a recruit leaves another what is our chance we get him. What if Coach Martin wins alot of games. Do you think he will leave for Purdue. Give it a rest people. Let him coach his first game at Tennessee first. :banghead2::realmad:

Worrying isn't going to change a thing. Lets support CBJ & Co, and let the games begin! GBO!

Are we seriously having a conversation about if we should worry about CBJ being successful?
