if i remember correctly, him and the D staff weren't offer the opportunity to stay as Vols,didn't Hart say nobody would get a contract extension over a year? and then Sal was brought in with a lengthy contract ?

Again, Wilcox had to leave. Bottom line. Find an insider that might give more info.

Wilcox is from the west coast and wanted to go back when he realized that the ship was sinking. Sal got a 2 year contract.

The defensive staff was under contract for another year.They weren't getting extensions.Wilcox and LB coach went back to the west coast. Lance Thompson left after he was passed over for the DC position.

U do realize the whole "getting off the sinking ship" reason for him leaving is all made up and just dooley hater talk right?? So let's please keep it to facts instead of throwing out dumb made up speculation.

(I know I know here's the dooley lover, but this is really the type of crap I can't stand. Let's keep to facts and reasonable opinions.)

You're right.Following the loss at Kentucky, the future was bright. Dooley was an incredible coach with an awesome coaching record. Thanks for setting me straight, Barbara.
