To say that Auburn is a better job than USC, Michigan, and Tennessee is deslusional. To say that Oklahomas St is in the Top 20 is insane.

That list is pretty bad. Georgia is #5? Really? I can't see how Alabama would be behind Georgia. I can see Oregon at 10 because of their relationship with Nike and all the money that brings in.

Georgia has way more in-state talent than Alabama.

his pac-10 rankings are a complete joke. oregon over USC? ASU and UA in the top-20 at all? ridiculous.

One comment in article, was that Alabama and Auburn have to share in state talent. I know there are other states with 2 sec teams but not of the same level of UA and AU.

Little off-topic but ASU could be a perennial powerhouse if the right coach was hired IMO.

I'm not saying that it justifies them being on the list though.

I agree with you on that. I honestly see Auburn as borderline top 20 much less being in the top 10

they don't have the recruiting base or really the fanbase either (in the future their alumni base will be HUGE though because of their ridiculous admission guidelines). the academics allows them to let in the burficts of the world, but i'm not sure this helps then enough. california kids want to stay in california. best jobs in the pac-12:

1. usc
2. ucla
3. oregon (only until phils money runs out)
4. Cal
5. UW
6. ASU
7. Stanford
8. UA
9. Colorado
10. Utah
11. OSU
12. WSU

It's a beautiful campus full of homemade porn stars though. Most any 18 year old would want to go there if you can get them on campus.

i don't think a single coach in ASU history has ever had a top-10 recruiting class. and they've had some good coaches. erickson, snyder, cooper, kush. obviously something is missing. cal has ugly chicks and has outrecruited asu every year for the entire decade. colorado has hot chicks too and we all saw where that got them.

they need to target some players from the midwest. Seems like many of the ASU girls were from cold places and you would think they guys would follow. Not sure their fanbase is that passionate though

they've done ok in texas in the past. tempe isn't just warm, it's ridiculously hot. weather in LA is far superior. Nor Cal probably has beter weather too. Their fanbase are huge bandwagonners. if they are ranked they'll draw 70K easy. if not they'll be lucky to hit 40K. and i don't mean over a period of years like most bandwaggon fanbases. i mean over a period of a couple of weeks.
