Omg! J.P is not a thug if J.P was a thug he would have been in the back of that car with ''the 4'', he elbows a guy he he has now reached the level of Thug.I play basketball I have hit people with elbows before nobody is going to mistake me for a thug.This thread is just to trash on a guy which real fans don't do.

Prince won't even go to the NBDL . . . . . you have to be able to at least shoot the ball, something Prince can't do. You can't rely on driving the ball everytime once you get past the college level. Prince is just downright atrocious when in comes to shooting

Prince had a ok night. Compared to his other nights yea it was a great night. Problem is he is a typical Memphis player in that he thinks he is better than he is and is entitled to do things that normal good players do not do ie. technical fouls out the ya-zoo.

How because he has tats, if so then you just called scotty,wayne,bobby,and swiperboy thugs too. You say he is a thug off nothing but his looks.Unless you know this for a fact because you talk to him daily, you're dead wrong.

Actually I'm pretty sure Scotty, Swiperboy, and Prince don't have tattoos.

I don't care how he acts off the court. That's like saying that someone who is a complete jerk and idiot at work is just a real great guy away from the office. It doesn't matter. He's a thug. Did you not see what he was doing at the beginning of the Memphis game before the tip-off? THUG.

No, the reason he's a thug is b/c of how he acts on the court. He's constantly jawing at other players even when the other player is not doing anything (e.g. Elliot Williams). I don't have to know him to see his stupid and childish antics on the court.

I'd rather have a player play with edge and be a "thug" then to be way to soft like Scotty Hopson. Michael Jordan was known as one of the biggest trash talkers in the game and would jaw with other guys all the time but no one called him a thug. Lebron James got pissed off and kicked a water bottle in the crowd and he's one of the best guys in the game today. I'm not saying JP is remotely close to those guys because I don't think JP is anything above average if that but that edge that you call being a "Thug" is present in any dominant player. I'd love to have JP's "thug" in Scotty Hopson then to play soft.

He knows Elliot Williams well. It was just some friendly ribbing for the the last time he played his hometown team. If messing around before the game constitutes thuggery then we’ve got a team full. BTW, I’ve traveled with the team in the past and if you knew him JP would be the last person you’d call a thug.

IF we get to the NCAA tourney, ie....we don't play many teams who play the 2-3 zone defense that well, THEN watch JP will cost a victory because of his poor free throw shooting or his lack of a consistent jumper. Book It.

I'm sorry but watching what Prince does with the whole way that he acted against Memphis and the Vandy game doesn't really compare to MJ and LeBron. MJ and LeBron's stuff comes out of being ultra-competitive. Prince is all about himself out there, and it's freaking annoying. Plus, he's a borderline lazy player at times. You could never say that about MJ or LeBron. I'll be glad when Prince is gone. That's all I'll say.

I'm not saying that he doesn't know Williams. I'm sure they know each other from the AAU circuit and being from Memphis. All I'm saying is that Williams was just standing there, and Prince is jumping around like a moron. It just reflects bad on the team.
