Sick of Vandy....

I hate Vandy as well but think it over guys and gals they beat GA, and Florida and were saying they are banged up. If we had beat those two teams we would be singing priases and shouting bUTch get it everywhere. Vandy is a better team and we need to admit that. I hope we win but I really have a bad feeling about this game. Everyone has exposed our weakness and vandy will play on that as well as being in Neyland wanting to beat us on our home turf. But I hope we maul them.

I don't really expect us to maul anyone at this point. I will take a 1 point win against Vandy and Kentucky.

What makes me sick is that Vandy clobbered the Gators and we didn't.

From this Monday Morning Armchair QBs seat, I don't give a flying potato as to who beats up on Florida. I applaud Vandy as they have been Gator Meat waaaay longer than the Vols have been.

Of course I hope we beat Vandy cuz that would for sure mean we really are then, better than the Swamp boyz

So UT is living vicariously through Vandy now? :ermm:

We have the tools to win this game handily.

I just hope we use the right size wrenches when they are needed.

Just wanted to say I really hope we mop the floor with those yahoos. In any other state of the program this is just a formality game. Given the state of things, and the fact Vandy has been talking trash and has a D'bag for coach, this would be a really fun game to watch UT pile drive the players and send Franklin home crying. For the first time in a month we should have the better team on paper and on the field. No playing around, Butch really needs to get this done and show the fans that order has officially been restored in the state and the rest of the SEC is to be officially put on notice we are coming to a theater near you soon, so buckle up.

V,B

Should be a great game and looking forward to it. First time in a long time that this game has a rivalry feel.

Explain to me your reasoning of " we have the better team on paper and on the field". I feel like both these teams are very similar in talent and ability and am wondering what you see that makes UT more talented.

VUs advantage is a team that is completely familiar with the staff and scheme they are playing. And their coach (weasel or not) gets the most out of that.

UT probably has a minimal talent advantage and it being at home will help.

Should be a good game.

I love that gif. Never seen that one before.

I hope the Vols absolutely beheads every single one of Vandy's players and sends them home with a loss and Franklin crying in his beer.:bash:

Why are you butt hurt all the time?

I'm not butthurt. Don't you think it's a bit funny to make fun of Vandy getting beat by Pinkle/Mizzou when he/Mizzou did the same to UT?

I think delusional UT fans are the ones that are butthurt! When UT wins, everything is great and the college football world is put on notice. When UT loses, the excuses come out of the woodwork. Too Slow, Dooley instilled losing (my favorite), recruiting has sucked, 1st year in Jones' system. The list goes on and on.

IMO, Those aren't excuses, just things that are actually true.

You can watch the games and be able to tell that the defense has no speed to speak of but Butch is correcting that and then some.

As far as Dooley instilling the losing the attitude, well look at the three years he was here and his record during his tenure. The team is simply not used to winning but Butch will fix that.

Recruiting under Dooley wasn't up to UT standards. Butch completely understands that we need elite athletes to compete in the SEC. He simply doesn't have them right now but look at his recruiting class because he is getting said athletes.

And it is Butch's first year. Not sure how that is an excuse.

The Dooley damage actually goes deeper than that. He, as our coach, had a fundamental belief that UT couldn't compete and rather than trying to step up, challenge the players and change that, he coached to it. It happened in every game to some extent but was glaringly evident in the Mizzou game last year. How do you play for overtime when you have two of the best receivers in the SEC, a QB that can flat sling the ball around. You play to at least get in field goal range and try to win in regulation. The decision to play for overtime is a slap in the face to the team and tells them in no uncertain terms "I have no faith that you can get it done"! It was sickening and Dooley was a coward and a loser for playing and coaching like this.

Yes, I am still a bit disjointed about the way Dooley destroyed this team from a competitive standpoint. The way he mentally destroyed this team is worse than his recruiting and Xs &Os. It is CBJ most difficult challenge to turn around.

They "clobbered" a completely, 100% DIFFERENT team than we faced. Must be nice to have easy ass games front loaded, and have all the hard games come late after the teams have been decimated by injury. These clowns have beat no one, and bought out their other hard games before the season started. They are a joke, and will always be a ****ing joke. We should kill these losers, and never let up. I hope to see their fans crying in Neyland after we corn hole them.

EG is bringing it today!:dance2:

Do you ever actually contribute in a positive fashion? Or just prefer to surf, critique, and chastise only for sport?
