Make fun if you want , I really do not care but we will have our hands full with Vandy and Kentucky. We are capable of getting beat by anybody !!!!!! Any team than lets a team run back two or three touchdowns on them simply is not very good.

I think delusional UT fans are the ones that are butthurt! When UT wins, everything is great and the college football world is put on notice. When UT loses, the excuses come out of the woodwork. Too Slow, Dooley instilled losing (my favorite), recruiting has sucked, 1st year in Jones' system. The list goes on and on.

And Dooley most CERTAINLY installed losing!

I had many bammer fans that told me satan struggled in year one due to holdover players from Shula that never learned discipline and respect. I laughed, but I was wrong. Satan cleaned house and next year they were a loss to UF away from playing for it all. A coach can leave a losing legacy with players. This has been said repeatedly by people who have actually played the game at the D1 level, including Fuad Reviez and a few others.

Sorry about the Pinkel mis-spelling. It looked wrong to me but I copied from another poster.

So go back to ALL-off season. All we heard was that "Butch gets it" and the players are believing and buying in. Go check it out.

Any poster that said anything to the contrary was called a negavol and told to GTFO.

So here we are 4-6 with 3 straight lack-luster performances (both score and effort), and the excuses don't match the pre-season sunshine pumping.

We're no longer hearing about players believing in Butch but rather the blame is placed on Dooley, recruitin, speed, etc. Any mention of lackluster effort is blamed on Dooley.

So did the players believe in Butch all off-season or didn't they?

I'd love to see a thrashing like Vandy did to the Vols last year, I'll never forget the Vandy player standing over a bloody Herman Lathers lying on his back. However, i'm not too optimistic of a win over Vandy with this current Vol squad, we'll see next weekend.

All the Vollyannas are going to be miserable after Tennesee's beat down next week.

I'm with you. However, it looks like the UT/Mizzou score isn't as relevant as the Vandy/ Mizzou score is.

I'm not sure why other than it's Franklin's 3rd year at Vandy and Jones' 1st year at UT. I was under the impression that Butch "got it" but....I don't UT loses to Vandy next Sat.

But if they do, the Vollyannas have their excuses lined up, and they start with Dooley.

Also saw the 50+ he put up in you bunch of pu$$!es..... If Pansybilt somehow finds a way to pull off a win vs UT, which I doubt, and get their all time winning % up toward the 30% range vs UT, your sorry arse better really enjoy it cause it's gonna be a very long time before it happens again. Now go eff yourself.

It's hard to say. They've committed to getting better back in the Bobby Johnson era by determining to no longer play any out of conference heavyweights and casting a little wider recruiting net. I don't know that there have been many UT-VU recruiting battles that the Vols lost, even in the last 5 years, and most of the sidewalk alumni who've anchored down lately are generally not defectors from the UTK fan base (unlike the scumbags in south cental TN who have a Roll Tide sticker on their pickup bumper and a 98 National Championship tshirt in the back of their closet.) It's been good for a win that they may not have otherwise had but they did not have to beat the Vols to make a bowl in 2012. I think that what they've done pretty much stands on its own merit although its one of those things where if you want to look for a knock against them you can easily and fairly state that in each of thier winning seasons since 2008 they were a couple of bounces away from being the same old Vandy.

If you guys want a laugh, check out the thread on VandyMania where someone is whining about a security guard at Vanderbilt Stadium talking to a guy dressed in UT gear "all game".

Also in another thread, someone commented on empty seats at the Duke game yesterday. Hmmmm hypocrite much?
