I'm not so sure he plays anywhere anymore.. I'm thinking he retires..

I'm very curious to see how this plays out...its not like nerve regeneration is a forgone conclusion.

Ask Inky.

I don't see PM going to any place that can't compete right away. I think AZ is in the lead and the best fit.
But I'd rather see him go to my Bears (aint gonna happen).

Yes I did. They have a lot of the pieces needed. PM would make them the Favorite in the West immediately. A few Defensive pick ups and they are right in the mix.

Cardinals are in no better shape than the colts...defense not good, no running game, only one reciever to throw to... So why would he wanna go there and not compete again?

Yes, a big Bears fan. When the best QB in franchise history is arguably McMahon then you just know a PM isn't coming. We just don't get good QB's.
And what happens with the Bears has NOTHING to do with UT's head coach not meeting very low expectations.

Have you seen the footage of him throwing at Duke? He looked like the Old Peyton.

Only heard about it, but I have also heard he still has atrophy in his arm and while he's looked good throwing, he doesn't have near the velocity he once had--still has the accuracy though.

I think the Texans would be the best fit. Imagine him throwing the ball to Andre Johnson!!! They are a really good team already that would become a great team with the addition of PM. I understand they have Matt Schaub already, but PM>>>>>>Schaub

I agree and have said it several times. Really good O-line, Foster, Johnson, and stout defense. Trade Schaub to a team like Miami for picks and deal some other non-key high salaries to get under the cap. Instant SB contender if Kubiak will let Peyton run the offense. Peyton has never been against running the ball when he had an offense that could do it.

Having said that I think KC is closer to the playoffs than Miami. Some great young talent there and he could have total control of the offense. I wonder if Harbaugh and Peyton could get along if he were at SF?

Where do you predict he ends up and how do you think he does? What player do you think that team drafts in the first round? How do you think that team finishes?

I wish Miami but I believe Arizona. Both have a great receiver but the cardinals can protect him better. Big part of his decision has to be who can keep him standing not getting blasted on every throw.

Granted it was only footage and not live. But he looked to have the velocity. Those there in person say he looked like the old Peyton.

I hope that's true. I'd hate for him to retire under anything but his own circumstances.

The owner ofthe Seahawks (Paul Allen) is the wealthiest owner in the NFL...$13.8 billion. They are right in the middle of the salary cap teams, and I've heard Paul Allen is goin to come out with a smoking hot checkbook to land PM.

Peyton has got to be looking at more than just money....hell he probably makes more $$ in endorsements than he does playing.

I agree. I think comfort with management and being able to compete are priority for him. Now $ does matter.

Texans, KC, and MIA are teams I could easily enjoy rooting for.

There is nothing in this world that I hate more than the Dallas Cowboys. Rooting for them to lose is as enjoyable to me as rooting for the Vols to win. So with that said I pray to God he doesn't end up there.
