yes and no. i haven't been on my laptop as much lately since i've spent most of the last weekend in knoxville. but i ran another scan with malwarebytes today and it looks like it got everything.

the two objects that were causing most of the problems are now in quarantine and isolated. so i'll keep them there for awhile and then see if i can delete them later. i tried to delete them immediately after they were quarantined earlier and they almost instantly came back when i booted my computer up. so at least i'll be keeping them in the virus vault for a few days where they can't cause any problems.

When you figure out how to get rid of them,please share cause I don't have a freakin clue.I'm was looking at the "More tools" button on Malwares and wondering what the FileASSASSIN section is all about.

i've used fileassasin a few times. it can come in handy when you use it on infected files that other anti-virus programs can't seem to delete

Is anybody having problems with pop-up ads in here tonight?I've had about 5 in the last hour.It's only happening when I'm on Volnation.

I just went out of Volnation for a few and was checking other sites and was having no problems with them.I'll wait and see if it happens on here again.

If it happens again, get a screen shot if you can so that if it's coming from here we can figure out which ad is causing it.

I think this is on my end.I was just on another site and ad's started popping up.

The OP's problem happens on my iPod Touch also.
I don't think it's anything to worry about.

looks like we were just hit again. I noticed the site went to maintenance for a few minutes. Hope all is well..

The site went into maintenance while I updated some software.. nothing to worry about just standard stuff.

My computer is having to stop and Quarantine files from Volnation again vol freak.

Latest is this one that had to be Quarantined....

I see these type of files listed when I clean my computer. But my security system does not register them as malware or anything out of the ordinary. However I will say they are hard to get rid of. They do not clean on the first attempt, requires a couple of runs. They also do not clean even though they are marked for deletion after reboot.


Vista home premium and IE 8.

I'm pretty sure that's an ad tracking cookie from a new advertiser we tried out this week. It should be harmless, but I've removed the provider that I believe to be causing the issue.

Can you give any insight to the ads you are seeing when it happens? I've removed changes I made last week so I'm surprised this is happening.

Anyone else having this issue?

This was the add this morning when it happen. The same add was on top and right of the page.

Anything else? That had is managed by Google and has been running for months. I'd be shocked if there was anything to it.

Which version of IE are you running again? I've been trying to duplicate the issue but with no success so far.

I installed this program the Squirrel from Bizarrell recommended yesterday and ran it. So far today, no problems.
