This just popped up while I was in the off topic forum menu.

This popped up in the Basketball Forum around 9:30 tonight. I don't get these anywhere else but at VN.

I've checked everything on my end and rechecked it and I'm not finding anything suspicious. It might help if I could get confirmation from others having the same issue. I'm not sure if tvols is still having issues or not.

Indeed, it could be any number of things causing this. These last two occurences were on my home computer.

The two pop-ups I posted look the same to me. If I encounter any that are different I will post them.

Life is good.

Please keep posting whenever you have issues. Maybe we can get to the bottom of it.

It will help if you can give me specifics about the ads showing.

Thanks

After doing some more research, it might also help if you can post or email me the source code from the page when this happens. Apparently, it could be an iframe tag triggering the alerts.

Glad to hear it has gotten better. I've been on most of the day and haven't had issues. Maybe others will chime in if they are having issues.

As always, thanks for the feedback.

I'll look into that. That has happened before and had to do with someone's avatar or a posted picture that was behind a password protected site.

Freak, I honestly think it's that movie player at the very bottom of the page that is slowing my page loads.

Just a guess..

I've been getting flash player error boxes.

I just clicked on new post and a warning popped up saying I had a virus and needed to be clean. I closed the warning box down by clicking on the red X top right of box. Then Volnation closed down and went to a page that looked like the My computer page and started/pretended to do a scan. I immediately closed it out.

Had this happen twice today. Both times in the vols football forum. I had just cleaned my computer 3 different ways a few hours before I entered the sight. Will probably download malwarebytes and try that. I know this is a pesky fake security program from past experiences with it. With all the security holes plugged by Microsoft and sate of the art home security, plus freak efforts one would think this thing would be taken care of.

I've gotten a denied redirect from Firefox twice in the last thirty minutes. Both times on Volnation. Something must've happened today I guess.

Please keep me posted on this. It appears a few of you may be having some issues. I'm not seeing anything on my end, however. But I will keep looking.
