Sadly this is not the part of the combine where Simmons is gonna shine.. he put up a decent 40 (5.38) for a 6'1 330pounder. Still quite a few folks to run but he's right near the very bottom so far. Looks like only half the DTS have run and the edges haven't gone yet. His time to shine will be in drills and hopefully bench press. Pearce came in on the short end of arm length
For context a 4.7 is the DT equivalent of a 4.4 for a WR. For a nose Tackle anything under 5 is ungodly (Jordan Davis of UGA running a 4.78 at 340 pounds was the equivalent of if a WR ran a 4.1)
