Sleeper of the class

I have to go with Channing Fugate..... this guys film is crazy. But with the stable of backs we have (and adding Rajion Neal sure didnt hurt anything) I think he will play on the opposite side of the ball......that would be great speed at the LB spot!

We do have a ton of RBs but why not move him to FB. And if he does get moved to defense I would love to see him return kicks.

Kudos to Probst for being n Eagle Scout, Tyler Bray is not a sleeper in my book. I'll go Rajion Neal. He'll run back punts and kickoffs like Eric Berry returned interceptions (until Monte used him all over the field). He should benefit our woeful special teams in a great way.

Crump is the eagle scout iirc.

Without a doubt Nash Nance, should have been at least a 4 star..maybe even a 5 star

Calm it down buddy. He should be a 3 star no more no less.
Edit: Btw the only way Nash becomes the sleeper is during his Jr year when Tyler goes down and he picks up the system like that.

Have you seen his videos? I have a friend that works at Rivals and he said the 2 stars are just a smokescreen created by Mike Hamilton. This guy really is 5 star talent.
Yeah I have and he reminds me of Timmy. Tebow. short pass plays with a quick release with around 85% accuracy. When the pocket dies he runs. Hope he can be our timmy.

from hearing what Meline was up to during orientation I's say he's the sleeper of the class.

I'll third.....Crump. CDD mentioned only three or four of the recruits and Crump was one of them. If he and Lance saw something that's good enough for me.

For a kid whose town has a population of around 7K, played allot at DE at 215lb and still did what he did.....he'll be special later on.

Crump. Smart kid. Great motor. Seems like a guy that is going to outwork some bigger names and make a splash.

Now you're using your head. :) Crump and Jackson have incredible first steps and motors that keep going like the Energizer bunny. Once these guys get a year or two of the strength and conditioning program under their belt WATCH OUT fellow vol fans. WATCH OUT!

You may be right, but for the most part, recruiters know what they're talking about, so if they say that Bray is a better talent than Nance, I'll believe them. Stars may not be perfect, but more often than not, they're right.

Since when does Mike Hamilton have anything to do with how many stars a guy gets?

I agree Nash is better than his rating, but let's not go overboard. He's a mid-level 3 star. There's no way to look at him and say he's going to be any more than an average player at this point. It could happen, but it would be surprising.
