Sleeper of the class

I'm goin with Crump, he's an athletic middle linebacker that ran 100m hurdles in track in HS, with those sets of skills he should be able to contribute good on special teams if not on defense

CDD talked about recruiting for help on special teams. I think he might have had both Crump and Sapp in mind.

i really like marques dixon, he had good film and came from a very good high school in georgia. he has great speed. i expect him to be a big help to this program possibly in the return game this year and cornerback in the years to come.

Crump is the sleeper...look at his tape and he is a 2 star...guys who are 4 stars really arent considered to be sleepers...or even Fulton every knows he is extremely underrated

Good way to attract 2A attention.

Exactly... it needs to be 6 or 8, then.

Three years from now, if you're Dooley and know you've got six, do you gamble and go for 8, risking the possibility of getting stuck on 7--and an AA investigation?

the interesting thing is that a lot of our great players werent ranked too high coming into college. moore had no stars, rogan was a two star, hancock three star, stocker three star, lather three star. these rankings dont mean much

Peyton won every award in college exept the one I wouldn't consider him a risk when he was drafted. Leaf had one of the strongest arms ever and that impressed Kiper. We will never see another Peyton. I think Bray can be very good . Imagine Peyton with these WR and backs.

Kent and Nash sucked??????

Kent and Nash sucked??????

Not what I said. I think Milton, Hunter, Rogers are better, bigger and faster. I also think Bryce and the rest of the backs are better pass catchers than Jay Graham.

Nash is the sleeper. I wouldn't be surprised to see him be The starter. It sure will be an interesting spring.

BTW I just asked Bryce Brown if his brother is considering coming here on facebook. His reply was "NO!"
lol

I know this is off subject, but I don't know how to start new threads. lol

This response tells me Bryce thinks the same about everybody talking to players on facebook as I do.

I would have to say Marques Pair. He is undersized and raw so it will take time, but his athletic ability as a tackle with those long arms and quick feet are incredible. Two years and about 40 pounds from now he is gonna have a shot to be a very good one.

Zach Fulton is far and away the sleeper of this class.

He is an elite talent. Not a good talent, an elite talent. I still have absolutely no idea how he was not a 4 or 5* prospect.

Just look at the schools that offered him the minute Kiffin bolted....Bama, LSU, etc... He was dominate at TN's camp against great competition.

Dontavis Sapp and Martaze Jackson.
They will turn out to bookend terrors as OLB's.

I like Marques Dixon. He was overlooked in recruiting because he missed his entire Jr year.

I think he will at least make an impact in the return game, and hopefully, he will eventually start at CB. I love this class for sticking with UT through all the BS, GBO!
