Small towns, small minds, The lines that divide us

The same could be said of the people that willingly stay in Detroit and Cleveland.

I prefer small towns because it is cheaper, you can get more house for the money, more land/yard for the money, and taxes are generally lower.

Not to mention the fact that it is easier to pay for tags and renew your license. What took me half a day to do in Lex, I can do in about 10 minutes in my suburb.

When they first started allowing illegal immigrants drivers licenses I waited in line for six hours. It was insane and there were many people there that were just a slight nudge away from going postal!

one reason I miss my AZ license. It didn't expire until my 65th birthday. Of course the emissions testing more than made up for it

I think it has to do more with the guy was from her hometown. I came from a small town and simply the majority of people that had a little fire under their ass to do something with their life aren't there anymore.

There are some successful people still back home and you'll know they are successful because people will talk about them all the time. It comes with a small town. A large part of the people who are back home either a. didn't go to college, b. didn't complete college, c. got into or are still currently on drugs.

I don't like a small towns because I don't like people knowing my business. If you get some good and good n' plenty on Monday at 5, ole' Pearl down beside the country store will know it by Tuesday before lunch.

If you grew up in Memphis, Dallas, L.A., Newark, St. Louis, Nashville, Houston or any other medium to large sized town, you would probably be saying the samething about the majority of your classmates from high school, also.
