Stewart getting the commanding win over best friend Kevin Harvick, brings his whole team with him up the fence, then will face certain fines and points penalty for using the "S" word to describe the bull feces his fans deal with every week.

I LOVE IT!!!!
Go Smoke!!

How dumb is it to say it when you know that you're going to get penalized? Stuff like that is funny and everything, but it makes NASCAR look bad.

about as stupid as getting penalized points for supposedly almost commiting murder on pit road.
?

I've said since it happened that Kurt shouldn't have been fined or penalized in any way for that display of stupidity, since others (Stewart, R. Gordon) weren't for doing the same thing, except at a more dangerous time.

i know tid.

it's even stupidier still that those 100 points would have him in 10th (i think) right now. and Junior on the outside looking in.

Yep.

Jr.'s 100 point penalty that didn't occur during the race will end up crippling him as well, if the bad luck week in and week out doesn't first.

absolutely GAVol, its beyond stupid to even say that on TV. His maturity gets lower as his age gets higher, its amazing.

NASCAR got Jr. for 25 and that was his first time he'd done it, they'll get Tony for more since he's done this before, and will prob. do it again. If you don't do anything about it, you send the message that it's ok to go around cussing on national TV, in front of a ton of kids who look up to you and wear your stuff.

i don't recall Stewart ever swearing before on TV. and if he did, i'm sure NASCAR would have fined him. and if they did, i would have remembered.

Harvick and Stewart are best friends. I don't Kevin will be too mad once he calms down. I'm the biggest Harvick fan on here and I realize that's the way it goes in the final laps at Indy. That was just racing.

Why does Stewart act like the fence climbing thing is his?

Helio was the man who started this celebration IIRC.

overall, i thought ESPN did a great job today.

Suzy Kolber didn't sound like the moron i thought she was going to be, the garage thing they have completely blows away Fox's cutaway car, and DJ once again is great in the booth. and of course Rusty Wallace was the babling dolt i thought he was going to be.

Rusty: "I'm really impressed with Juan Montoya today being this is his first time here."
me: "umm...Rusty, you do know that Jaun has raced all three majors series at the Speedway right?"

get that guy off the air. he's dumber than DW.

i did think they talked too much about kissing the bricks
