Smoke just dropped an S-bomb at the post race interview...

Why does Stewart act like the fence climbing thing is his?

Helio was the man who started this celebration IIRC.

But smoke is the only one doing anything original besides Carl Edwards. Everyone else does burnouts, or a doughnut in the grass, does each one of them think that they are the only ones doing it. He is making an effort to do something for the fans. I hate to say it but Kyle Busch is about the only other driver that will say whats on his mind and not worry about being PC. If the rest of these supermodel pretty boys would grow a set and be a little individual the crap might be worth watching. That is why all the great tracks are closing down, and we race week in and week out on these cookie cutter mile and a half snooze fest tracks. Everybody puts Earnhardt Senior in God status for being a hard nosed move or I'll move you kind of driver. Didn't back down from anyone and told you what he thought. But you all gripe about Tony doing the same thing. Make up our mind. Tony Stewart was the best thing to happen to the sport since Gordon. Who is a big reason it is as big as it is today.

Kyle Busch
Tony Stewart
JPM
Kurt Busch
Kevin Harvick

all of them will pretty much say what they feel, when they feel.

oh, and thank my man Alex Zanardi for making the doughnuts famous.

That's just it, he wasn't the first one to do it, even in NASCAR.

Helio Castroneves climbed the fence after winning the Indy 500 in 2001. Later that day, Jeff Burton won the 600 and his whole team climbed the fence as well.

Helio was doing it before he won the Indy 500 his fisrt time.

I agree. It's even more annoying when TS gets pissy and tells the interviewer things like: "I've never seen one of you guys do it...(climb the fence)"

Tony Stewart is an odd character. You really want to like him . . . but he's got the social skills of a 12 year old and the personality of a doorknob.

I agree with this except for the "really want to like him" part :p

Fandom is odd - we criticize some for being whiny babies but ignore the same behavior in our favorites.

There is nothing to worry about. They where both right. Now Im probably the biggest Harvick fan on here and if I didn't get upset then it probably wasn't that big of a deal. There's 10 laps to go at the Brickyard. Both drivers really wanted to win there and niether were going to lay over and let the other win. I would expect Stewart to make an aggressive move to pass him and I'm glad Kevin has the competitive nature to not be happy with it. They're both really good friends and by next week this whole thing will have been forgotten.

I love it. When it's drivers you like, it's just two guys racing hard. I'd give anything for Montoya to do the same thing to Harvick that Stewart did just to see your reaction.

Well Stewarts earned my respect. Montoya would get out of the car crying like a baby about how he's the best ever and how Kevin should have gotten out of his way since JPM thinks he's God.

Yeah, since he's did it before.

Keep making stuff up, maybe someone will buy it.

What are you talking about. JPM thinks everyone must respect him even though he's accomplished nothing. If Ganassi wanted a real non american driver why couldn't he have gone with Marcos Ambrose. He's 10 times the person JPM is and probably a better racer given good equipment.

accomplished nothing? since when do CART titles, Indy 500 wins, F1 wins and NASCAR wins count for nothing?
