I'm 33 and I own a minivan . . . South Park references are all I've got.
I love when GAVol cracks on himself. It makes me feel better somehow. :biggrin2:

I'm telling ya'll: try the habenero pistachios.

Oh, and as for the mustard apples: regular, brown, or dijon?

I love me some Oreo Cookies, but only when you twist and get stuff on both pieces of the cookie.

My snack of late has been baby carrots and chopped celery.

Dadgum diet.

I've had 'em and they are good if you like the hot snacks. I like Fresh Market but I hardly ever go to any grocery store.

Something else that's good is laying some Tostito's chips on a plate, sprinkling some shredded cheese over them, and popping them in the microwave for about 35 seconds.

Yum...

If you add a few jalapenos on there it helps.

Sorry, man, that's just nasty.

Oh, and throw that apple out. It has smallpox.

That's just proof that it's organic. You'll pay triple for wormholes at Wild Oats.

Here's another for you (goes back to college and med school days of studying at ungodly hours): Triscuit Pizza. Carefully arrange the square lovelies on a plate, top each with a little blob of pizza sauce, cheese, a half a pepperoni, and some garlic salt, basil, and oregano. Microwave about 30-45 seconds until the cheese is melted and: voila.

Don't laugh, I know about a half-dozen of you are about to jump up and try this out. It's good. I guar-awhn-tee.

That does sound pretty good. Thanks.

Truscuit pizza? Is that one of those receipies they put on the side of the box? I have not tried them yet but I noticed in my pantry that the grocery fairy (girlfriend) brought home some sort of "topable" cracker that looks like a Ritz. Basically, the picture shows it has raised edges on one side so it functions like a little bowl.

Nope, that's a KD original. As I remember (and this is sketchy at best), it started with a lot of coffee, a really upset stomach, and a lot of Biochemistry to study. On a positive note, it worked.

Maybe you can get a Packy vs. Fiddle Faddle thread going like the chocolate milk thread?
I would, if they sold piddle paddle over here. Chuck knows what it's like relocating from the south to the PNW. There's no sweet tea. About 3/4 of the restraunt chains in the south are not up here. Aside from your big corporation chains, McDonald's, Taco Bell, etc., it's all local joints. No Cracker Barrell, no Sonic (although I heard we're getting one finally?), the first Krispy Kreme in the whole PNW outside of Seattle just opened up in Beaverton like two years ago...

Forget culture shock. Try diet shock.
