This game could teach us nothing but one thing - is the team focused and professional. The answer is no - in a year where fourth quarter leads have evaporated faster than Alvin Kamara sprints to the end zone.

Credit to North Texas - they had a game plan. But it shouldn't have mattered. Depth, in this game, is not an excuse. We lacked focus. It's to be expected with a noon kickoff against a cupcake. I think Butch needed to send a message to the fans that the team IS focused and he failed.

The next two teams have defences and the potential to capitalize on mistakes. I think this staff already has a lot to analyze in the off-season - a lot of time to be looking in that mirror.

If we lose either of the next two games (if we lose both, it's a no brainer) then Butch and the BSiA have to do extraordinary things in 2016 to continue receiving paychecks from the UTAD. There is simply not one excuse left for less than 8-wins. Team 120 will be play-off level special if they have the coaching.

Hopefully this means our coaches and our team were over looking NT all week and have been focused on Mizzu.

Disagree. I'd say our odds of winning out are no better than 50/50. Missouri will play their ass off against us. Both games will be decided by less than a touchdown.

I would have said over 90% two weeks ago, but the last seven quarters of football have me really worried now. Playing down to competition happens; I can't put my finger on it but today has concerned me.

Vandy and Missouri has great defense. For the past 2 games our offense has sucked. We are in for a battle to get to 8 wins.

Hahahah. No. North Texas would probably beat Missouri and would stomp Vanderbilt. The benefits of playing a front loaded schedule is the cakewalk at the end.

We haven't been run blocking well. It is befuddling. Is there a reason Jack Jones isn't playing? Did he get hurt?

Crowder and Weisman or bad

Always looking for reasons to panic. Unbelievable.

Nobody is shocked by your response, ReaderVol.

I feel better now with your reminder that everything is fine with Butch and Volnation.

We were definitely managing some players so we can have them fresh against Mizzou and Vanderbilt. Their defenses are by no means terrible.

Offense needs to put 24-27 on the board against both teams and hold them to 14 or less!
