So, 8-wins could be in danger...

I'm honestly concerned about our run offense. Yes, yes, I know we ran for 237 yds today and are averaging 200+ this season per game. But this is 3 weeks in a row where we have significantly underperformed in the run game vs easily the 3 worst run defenses we've played all season. I'm certain I'll get a ton of stats and likely a few insults, but I think it's concerning that we couldn't just line up the last 3 weeks and control the game running the ball.

20 year old kids mailed one in against a vastly inferior opponent that had no chance of winning. Oh noes! We are doomed!
I imagine most of them were focused on where they are going to party tonight.

Without Dobbs running, the offense is not good. Especially when the OL is playing like it did today

Well our next two opponents are 2-9 in conference (including a head to head game!) so we should get pretty healthy after that.

If we lose either of the next two games (if we lose both, it's a no brainer) then Butch and the BSiA have to do extraordinary things in 2016 to continue receiving paychecks from the UTAD. There is simply not one excuse left for less than 8-wins. Team 120 will be play-off level special if they have the coaching.

Fortunately, the UTAD couldn't care less about your assessment.

Beatdown coming to Mizzou
It begins tonight I suspect BYU will destroy them. You have the Mizzou staff already calling around looking for their next job. I wouldn't mind having their DL coach Ski.

1. Butch hasn't beaten Pinkel.
2. Mizzou has 2 new sources of inspiration and they want their coach to go out with a bowl win.
3. Game is at their place.

We will likely lose this game. Sickening.

It's obvious the offense appears throttled and execution of unimaginative play calling might be costly in one of the next two. We need new direction and a new offensive play caller.

Been on this board awhile (and been forced off for awhile too).

I've been right a whole lot more than 90% of the posters on this board, and been right 99.9% more than UTAD post Dickey.

Butch and the BSiA still have a lot to prove at this level. We've seen some smdh moments on Saturdays this season. I felt very uneasy watching this game knowing 8-wins is an absolute must.

Hey, we evened the series with North Texas. Wins are wins. Playing down to competition is natural. Team was in first gear preparing for fifth gear in Columbia.

They better be. That's all I'm saying.

Credit to NT for having a gameplan.....I think every team has a game plan but I'm not sure. OK I'm gonna ask who gave this thread a like???

Does UT have one in the 4th quarter (and in some games, the second half?)

We were definitely managing some players so we can have them fresh against Mizzou and Vanderbilt. Their defenses are by no means terrible.

"Managing players" -- you mean the starters that played into the 4th qtr?

Oh, wait, Jones was resting the BACKUPS -- no doubt another crafty move based on analytics.

Disagree. I'd say our odds of winning out are no better than 50/50. Missouri and Vanderbilt will play their ass off against us. Both games will be decided by less than a touchdown.

Same thing was said about UK.
