Did it happen to every kicker that Dooley ever coached, or was it just a freak accident?
The reason that I asked it is because you made it sound like Dooley did it knowing that Bullock would get hurt. If several previous kickers had been hurt, then I would agree that it was negligence. You've asked this question twice now and I don't understand what you're getting at. He was injured as a result of a faulty drill that put the kicker at unnecessary risk after a grotesque injury, they stopped doing the drill.
I think you are one of those who likes to blame Dooley every chance you get. He obviously did not do it on purpose, unless he knew that every kicker that ever participated got hurt. It was an accident.
Fine. Did Dooley get his kicker hurt on purpose? If he didn't, I find it irresponsible to insinuate that it was his fault. He didn't exactly do a great deal on or off the field to give him the benefit of the doubt.
Somebody referenced the incident, you asked him to clarify it, I provided the story of what happened. I wasn't blaming Dooley for anything, I was explaining what happened.
I'm going to blame him for things he was guilty of. The list is long. Outside of the Vol for Life program, there are very few things that he did well or was responsible for that improved. Talent, recruiting, on-field performance, academics, alumni relations, all of it went down and he was directly responsible for much of it. He literally could not have made the program worse if he had set out to run it into the ground. I'd defend him, but the things that I saw were completely indefensible.

Alrighty then.I never said he got him hurt on purpose.
He created a practice situation, against the advice of two coaches on his staff, that led to a grotesque injury.
In fact, one of those two coaches predicted that exact situation would happen. Dooley called him an idiot in front of others.
A walk-on had previously been injured standing in for a kicker in the same drill, though he didn't break his leg because he didn't complete the kicking motion.
