SO.....ashely madison?

if its that bad. man up and tell your spouse. the damage is minimized, seems it would be catastrophic if laid to fester...

still yet. i guess in my mind, i cannot see any rhyme or logical reason any person would feel 'anonymous' by doing anything online.

these people should have the sack to use tender or just go meet someone at a bar, hell get a hooker. dont hide behind a curtain. also read that a lot of these folk were in the military. sad day.

utterly ridiculous.

Very sad, but I may have a different opinion as to why it's a sad day. The hordes of people who are applauding a huge violation of privacy is more sad to me than people using the site.

while i agree. do not typically privacy advocates attempt to deter government intervention? its not really a privacy issue when we're talking about potentially people breaking laws, as it is in some countries and the military.

i get what youre saying. those responsible should be prosecuted fully. the web site should have never existed, alas it did.

What laws were broken here? Not sure I follow.

The internet is awesome, without it I wouldnt have my daily GIF of cats to laugh at. Still, the fact people are applauding the violation of privacy of people is a little disturbing.

15K (to include DOD non-military employees) isn't really that many. AM wise or military wise.

Some people need stuff like this to make themselves feel better at the expense of others. Those people must be in a pretty low place of their own of some kind.

I've got a plan! I'll turn you in, you confess, and we'll split the money!
Meh, we'd both be in jail for fraud after the first interview. They'd ask me, "Are you the same malinoisvol on volnation?" I'd say, "Yep!" Their next statement would be, "Put your hands behind your back, you etarded SOB! Your under arrest!"

Where do I find this daily GIF of cats? Is this on the "dark Web" I've heard about?

Well, I saw that it was from gawker, so I kind of had my doubts of its reliability, but thought it was interesting anyway.

There is literally no way all but 3 zip codes were used on Ashley Madison. That means that every zip code in montana, Wyoming, north and south Dakota and most of Alaska were on it.

Probably more proof that AM was setting up fake accounts
They would want to have all zip codes covered
So legit members would think there were people to meet for affairs

This is the worst case to argue that the hackers are the real bad guys here.

This guy has a good cover story...

Husband Found On Ashley Madison Adultery Site Says: It Wasn't Me : All Tech Considered : NPR

He came across an article about the Ashley Madison hack, and it listed search engines you can use to see if a specific email address is in the leaked database.

Corcoran was curious. He decided to put in his email, to see if he wound up on the membership roster — maybe through another site he's on. And, he says, "it pops up and says 'confirmed.' "

As in, he's there!

Corcoran was at a loss for words. "I don't say anything. And I go to the second search engine. I think this has to be a mistake."

And again, confirmed.

Corcoran says he feels violated. Professionally, he's an advocate for women's rights and has even been a relationship counselor. So many Ashley Madison search engines have been put online. He's positive people he knows have looked him up but won't directly confront him about it.
