So, naysayers?

Fla. should of beat Auburn, but talk about just giving a game away; LSU gave it to em. Just like Russell gave it to us on a silver platter, too bad the ref had a quick whistle on final drive.

Bait - Honestly . . . .What did you think when he faked that punt?

I knew it was coming....if you DVR'd it ...the middle blocker behind the line makes an arm movement which means it's on. Very Ballsy call...if you dont get that 1st down that prolly the ball game since Arky had all that momentum.

According to Gary, there's no such thing as momentem..

He's playing now mostly with zook's players.

The Zooker may have had his shortcomings, but he certainly did not leave the cupboard bare. There was first class talent on the field wearing blue tonight.

That fake punt from his own 10 yard line might have been one of the most stupid playcalls I've seen in my entire life.

It brought back memories of Hal Mumme. I can only hope that Meyer, like Mumme, continues to make such decisions for the rest of his SEC coaching career.

Gary is an idiot..

You could have stopped right there. I cursed him through my TV all night. I don't mind Vern, but I really wish Gary would put a sock in it.

We had the worst defense we've had in a long while and UGA had easily the worst year in the Richt era. Pair that up with lucky wins against USCe and it shouldn't be such a surprise. Let's call it "the perfect storm".

Agreed

I usually would pull for another SEC team in the NC game, but I can't pull for Florida, Urban's just to much of a whiner..

If not for B#$*S*#t illegal hands to the head we would have beat them.

:birgits_giggle:That's only funny to me because I just told somebody the same thing.

Come on now, like a lot of things about Hal Mumme, that was funny. The man is a rich source of material.

That spread will no doubt cause some headaches, but Tebow also has to prove that he is able to handle throwing against an SEC defense. Fortunately or unfortunately, we'll be the guinea pig.

How much did Air Force have to throw the ball this year?

I agree that the jury is still way out about whether the spread option will ultimately work against SEC defenses, but if Chavis doesn't do something about the way we play defense against the option, next year's game could be ugly. We're going to have to do something about our overpursuit against option teams, that's for sure.

I think that Charlie Strong and that defense have supported Meyer's anemic offense all year. I have said it all season, that defense is fast. How many times did McFadden make it to the corner last night?

from what I watched, DMac's biggest gains came between the line. Just about every time he went to the outside, UF was waiting for a loss or very short gain.

*sigh*

Do you remember the B#$*S*#t flag that called back a Florida PR for TD? It evened out.

It more than evened out, it gave us the advantage. If they got it right, they would have scored, that play would never have happened, and UF has another touchdown to add.

Tebow will be a superstar. He reminds me of Shuler, only better. And with Percy Harvin, look out, UF is going to be simply loaded. It pains me to say it, but Meyer in on the brink of doing somehting significant down there. Look he's possibly going to play for the National Championship in his second year, that's pretty impressive and will only attract more talent.

And the annual butt-kicking for UT has only begun in this new UF coaching error...now it might be 10 years between UT victories over Florida.

Isn't Florida losing much of that front 7?

I know they're returning 75% of the secondary, barring any defectees to the draft.

I'm more worried about Florida in 2008 and 2009 than I am in 2007.

They're losing most of their defense......I know that much, what're they losing on Offense other than Chris Leak and Dallas Baker? Deshaun Wynn is he a Senior?....I think Caldwell is a Senior as well
