Okay guys, we finally got our QB commitment for the '10 class. Tyler Bray is the guy CLK has chosen to lead our offense into the future. Everyone has said all along that all we need is a QB commit and then the recruits will start rolling in. I would say we have done a great job thus far without a QB, but now that we have one who will be the first to roll in? Also, do you think we may move up some of the top tier prospects lists now that we have a signal caller? Are there any currently committed prospects that may take a second look at UT now that we have a QB? Discuss...

Cobbs is my first choice to be the next one to commit, but im going to say that an OL is going to be our next commitment. Idk which one it will be but im just guessing.

Don't know who's next to come in, but WBIR reported that Bray will finish high school in December so he can enroll for spring.......Is that awsome or what!!

He is working for that. Not sure if he will make it or not. I sure as hell hope so though. Could be huge. Even though I believe Stephens will be the starter in 2010 and Teddy Heisman Bridgewater in 2011

I think the next commit may be our last WR we take. Stills is coming to visit for the UCLA game.

It is too hard for the staff to pressure an OL to commit now because we have so many openings that we will wait on Leifheit, Stone, D Robinson etc. as long as we need to, same for D Linemen.

We are closing out class out for RB and I think we could pressure there,
We could pressure at WR
We could pressure at DB
We could pressure at Safety.

We are done obviously at FB, we are done with a 1 great kicker, I think we might take a great TE if the kid came along, we have tons of LB need, tons of OL need, tons of DL need. I do not think the staff needs another QB commit with Lamaison there now even though he has not been too hot. I think we will get 2 QBs from the much better class of 2011.

It is too hard to guess with currently committed prospects but I would say that South Carolina could have a bad year and give us up a good guy. I also think that UGA may be a lot more down than people are guessing from just 1 game, and I am interested in the speculation about who we could snag from their current class. Ogletree and Rogers are not going anywhere, but I would love to sway
Garrison Smith - Yahoo! Sports
From Jamal Lewis's HS Douglass who Lance Thompson is working on and
Brent Benedict - Yahoo! Sports
Who would be as big a surprise as Bryce Brown given that we were not in his top 10 according to most. We just have immediate playing time to offer, and with Sturdivant out for the year, the GA OL will look worse than the UT one despite having higher starred players on it.

Can I get immediate playing time and can the team win alot and can I get to the NFL from there (good player dev.) are all things that UT will start looking better and better at for lots of guys.

Robinson isn't going to make any noise until after the season. Cobbs is going to take officials to UT and LSU before he decides. Unless we just absolutely blow a prospect away at the UCLA game, I am going to put my money on Dietrich Riley as our next commit. He is huge on the Vols, and is visiting for either the Auburn or UGA game. I think we can get him to commit on the visit or soon after...

They will only take 1 more WR, 2 at the most if it is an elite guy that falls into their lap late.

If Cobbs really wants to be a Vol I would think he'll go public fairly soon. He might not want to wait too much longer but he seems intent on waiting as of right now.

I think with a good official visit this weekend Riley could be the next commitment. He is officially visiting this weekend isn't he?

I cant think of anyone else off the top of my head who is close to deciding.

I agree Cobbs needs to go ahead and commit. LSU is not going to have room for him at WR...

Nah, Riley isn't coming in this week. In early August, he said he was going to try to come for the UGA game since he has a Thursday game and will be able to get to Knoxville on Friday and enjoy the whole weekend. Hubbs said yesterday that he is hearing Riley will be coming for the Auburn game though...

The book on Scroggins isn't closed.....

PLEASE>>>>> He is a USC lock...done deal! Get over it and move on. He was scared of the competition when he was the only one on the board...why would he switch now????? Brey has more upside than JS anyway.

Nick will start next year and let Brey get some muscle and knowledge and see what happens in 2011.

I wish JS the best in LA. UT has the QB they need!

Nick and Stephens same guy. Nick Stephens.

Lots of trouble with names in this thread, but not as bad as Kiffen which seems rampant.

Good thing we got Head Coach Kiffen and Recruiting Coordinator Oregon leading the way for these recruits.
