So, UF fans on the board:

Some of the gator fans remarks I overheard after the game make this loss even harder to stomach.

^^^ This^^^^

I think the Gators probably won the game because Harris didn't start but entered the game later. It's hard to start a freshman in a stadium like NS and freshman will force things early to make things happen.

After saying all that they should of put him in a little bit earlier but the receivers aren't helping the QBs.

I'm not sure if I can even handle a 2 QB system driskel. That's still far too much driskel.

Win or not, it was still an abysmal performance and did no favors for Boom. Harris gives him the best chance of somehow keeping his job.

Driskel cant throw an accurate ball past 5 yrds. The other QB is untested throwing but is a better running threat. No brainer really.

I walked out with several and heard nothing close to that actually.

That's because the UF fans at the game probably think of us as being on the same level as Kentucky. I know plenty who are fond of talking smack on Facebook and in person.

I think any rational person can see that.

He maybe a dunce but he made it early enough to get the points required.

Of course our idiot OC had to help set the table.

Congrats on the win guys.

I felt like it was a seriously bad omen when you all picked us to win. Even begging us to win.

I think you got exactly what you wanted/needed. A win over UT and an overall terrible performance by Muschamp. Grats.

The ole banana in tail pipe?

I would take Rich Rod over Chump as HC. Mullen should be hired even if Champ wins 9 games.

Better than losing and losing and.. well you get the point.

UF is not very good and UT cant beat em.

Congrats on the win. You may still get a better coach and continue to beat UT.

Well Butch maybe over his head in big boy ball if he can't manage wins vs bad teams.

Just a thought.

Starting to think that myself.

He beat HBC last year and has taken a couple of others down to the wire.

Next step is sealing the deal regularly. I haven't lost faith in him yet. The OC and OL coaches? Trying my patience...

What really killed me was that presser...holy jesus above, he looked and sounded like dooley. I envisioned him going back to his office, kicking his desk and breaking his hip. The guy better start smiling and let these kids enjoy whats left of the season. The pressure from vol fans is getting to him. GO GET SOME SLEEP JONES. It'll do you good. Spend some time with your family and learn to love again...jeez.

did you see the run game open? and treon barely threw it its just his quick twitch agility makes him alot tougher to tackle then jeff

if muschamp puts driskel back in any point this season he's an idiot

if your interested take a look at his highschool tape against top miami competition the kid can throw it

Washington (Miami, FL) Treon Harris - 2013 Highlights - YouTube

ill say this with treon i think we have a chance to beat lsu, uga, & mizzou with driskel no chance in hell

Five-star Seffner Armwood defensive end Byron Cowart attended Florida’s season-opening win against Eastern Michigan and was impressed with Harris then. He threw just two passes for 148 yards and a pair of touchdowns in his college debut.

After seeing Harris excel again in Knoxville, Cowart is excited about him being UF’s quarterback for years to come. Cowart joked that he might try to play tight end if he goes to Florida.

“You have to be the man at that quarterback spot,” he said. “You have to be able to motivate the players around you. When he gets in, you can tell everyone is hyped and ready to play. He breaths life into the offense and the team.

“It’s exciting as a defensive player to know he brings confidence. I know if we get a three-and-out, this guy can make it happen. Knowing Florida has a guy that gets everyone clicking, that’s good.”

Jacksonville Ed White receiver Javarius Davis said Harris is one of the reasons he would choose the Gators, and he thinks a lot of recruits feel that way.

“I love Treon,” Davis said. “He just has that swag, man. He’s a big playmaker, and that’s what you need on offense. He’s going to help in recruiting. Guys want to play with him just like I do. If I went there with him as the quarterback, we would have a very explosive offense.”

Another in-state receiver, Ryan Davis of St. Petersburg Lakewood, has been a fan of Harris since his high school career at Miami Booker T. Washington, noting that he hasn’t lost a game since his sophomore year.

“I’ve known about Treon for a while,” Davis said. “He played well against Tennessee. He managed the game and made plays to get the win. With him just being a true freshman, that’s real big. He’s only going to get better.”

Harris’ reach extends outside of the state Florida. Daniel Imatorbhebhe, a tight end from who Suwanee (Ga.) North Gwinnett who officially visited UF for the Kentucky game, was blown away by Harris in 2013 when his team shutout Georgia powerhouse Norcross, 55-0.

“He’s a fun player to watch,” Imatorbhebhe said. “He’s a winner. He’s a gamer. He’s so dynamic. He has the playmaking qualities that not just me but people across the country want to see for the future.”

Do you think this guy is legit or will his best game (like Murphy) be against us? Obviously he was not in our game plan.

Harris is already a better passer than Murphy, and just as mobile.

It's maddening to think how long it took Muschamp to make the change...it's as if he was watching a different QB than the rest of the planet.

Driskel is the worst starting QB at UF since Donald Douglas in the late 80s.
