So, umm, Christian McCaffrey

Jason White threw 40 touchdowns and only 8 interceptions before the Big 12 forgot how to play defense. As for this year, McCaffrey would be my pick, but I don't see the gap between players that some do. I think that both Henry and Watson have strong cases.

McCaffrey should run away with this award. Because he is a white running back which is widely considered a black guys position he doesn't get the respect he deserves. His season is on par with Barry sanders. Imo this kid is by far the best college football player. I just hope he wins. With that being said, anyone one of those three players should win it, and deserve it, so it wouldn't be a sham if someone else wins because they all did amazing.

Except Sanders had 22 more touchdowns that season and he only played 11 games to get his totals

They aren't even remotely comparable.

But McCaffrey also lost out on TD's to Wright. The guy had 77 carries, 13 of which went for TD's. He avg 2.7 yards per rush. I'd like to see Shaw let McCaffrey finish what he started next season.

Hahahaha yes. Ingram (honestly not saying it because he's a Bama player) is quite possibly the worst Heisman winner of all time. And I'm not uptight about it. Simple facts.

Clearly you aren't old enough to remember Gino Toretta winning the Heisman.

I remember that year. Good times.

FWIW, one of the loudest cheers from the UF section when we played at Bama in '98 was watching Lamar Thomas getting stripped by George Teague in your "This is Alabama Football" video intro.

On a somewhat related note, a Bama alum and co-worker named his lab puppy Lemanski after that '93 Sugar Bowl.

I was only ten, but I vividly remember Miami's first play from scrimmage. Bama showed a defensive look that Toretta hadn't seen on film, and he called his first timeout before taking his first snap. I knew, at that moment, that Bama was going to ruin him.

I'm done with the heisman after this year. The fact that Keenan Reynolds didn't get to take a helicopter to the ceremony, wear his dress blues, and be considered top 5 based on performance and Integirty proves what this process really is to many people.
