So, what do we know about our new S&C coach?

Lets see now. They can star in the NFL but can not play in the SEC. Real smart.

You really, really need to work on your ability to identify satire. I know its not always easy to see sarcasm on the Internet, but I even bold-ed the letters for NFL for you and called the SEC the best "League of Football in the Nation" to make it clear that it was sarcasm.

being as we are going to 4-3 D and zone blocking O line, will most of our linemen have to get leaner in the offseason? edit* i dont know if zone blocking requires more speed. im asking.

Our lineman wont have to change much at all. There isn't a big difference in the new offense compared to what we ran last year. Which is a good thing IMO.

My wife uses resistance bands. 😏 I'll stick with squats and sprints. Thanks though and goodnight! GBO

All teams use the bands with weight training. Works just like the chains do. Keeps a more constant resistance throughout the repetition with more resistance at the top. It works & has its place. No S&C coach uses that method or any one method as a stand alone exercise though like some are thinking.

Maybe he was hanging out with Barry Bonds.

Yep. Resistance bands might work. The juice ALWAYS works.

Every new SC coach UT gets is lauded here as better than the last. Black iron over Long, dude from TT over black iron, etc etc.

I don't know a foolproof way to tell who is best but if a SC coach can't keep his own lard ass under control I have my doubts.

Increase power, muscle mass, while making one:rock::rock::rock: become quicker or maintaining same quickness and speed. He is very good at it.

You can develop every muscle in your body & of course you can develop fast twitch. The content of fast twitch muscle you have is genetic though its not like you can actually create fast twitch muscle fibers you just have to get the most out of what you have.

This!!

You are born with a particular amount of fast and slow twitch muscle fibers, the only thing you can do is develope them properly!! There is no training regiment that "creates" fast or slow twitch muscle fiber.

I do not know Lawson, but i know his "mentor" he mentions in one of his videos, he is a speed and agility guy. Has an impressive college and pro resume, but has been released from all his jobs. Is now working for a local chiro doing high school agility training.

I'm fine with a guy being fired up and hard on his team mates, but you have a serious lack of knowledge about signs of mental health and team dynamics if you you think hunting down your own team mate with a weapon is a sign of effort.
1) How dare you question my mental health knowledge? The simple fact I am responding to you should let you know I am mentally ill, and therfore have vast knowledge on the subject. 2) When Hanesworth was in shape and motivated he was an absolute beast. The fact we had players on the O line that could punk him out enough to go look for a mop handle, shows me we had serious players back then. 3) Cutt and Chavis both have a lot of pride and hated loosing. They went at each other during practice and the players followed suit. That "team dynamics" won us a helluva lot of games, period.

i was under the assumption that there woild be a huge difference.

As was I. Sounds like CBJ's offense is very similar to Mike Shanahan's, and Denver always had smaller, but very agile and athletic O lineman.

I would expect to see more emphasis on speed and agility training, however, I don't think that means the lineman will be working with 5 lb pink dumbbells
