He was hurt and had surgery so he could't workout to gain extra weight and strength.
You run swinging your arms and with shoulder surgery it's hard to run so he couldn't practice route running either.
He's a top student and a very good football player that fell behind because of his surgery and so much time rehabing.
He's 1 of the hardest workers on the team so he WILL come back and will make a big impact in the next year or 2.
Never count this kid out because he has what it takes to be really good after he can work normaly and learn everything that they all have to learn before they breakout.
There's many 4* and 5* guys that got by on talent alone and in college they have to really learn how the position is supposed to be played and it takes them awhile.
Some people never really get it until their junior or senior season and suddenly the light bulb comes on and they become a superstar and a 1st or 2nd round draft pick in the NFL.
Never count out anyone this early that has so much natural talent!
