Or they realize that it’s 2022 and Jordan Davis isn’t walking through that door.

Ding Ding...Jordan Davis is one who shoots down that whole other thread about good players look nice with shirt off.

Jordan Davis is one ugly big eared fat slob

and the guys who set the rankings were well aware that this game was on the schedule this week! And up till now Tennessee had the advantage because of performance THIS year. That ranking means nothing after the game today is played! And the winner will move to number one and rightly so!

How can the winner move to number 1 if the winner is already in the number 1 slot! :)

This is what is killing me. They don’t realize they are no where near as good as they were last year. That is in no way a knock on their team this year, just a statement to how good they were last year. Pair that with how much better we are….they are in for a rude awakening.

In 2014 when Miss St was the first #1 in the CFP Poll they were like 7 point dogs @ Bama. They actually covered, but still ate that L.

It’s true. It seems like trash talk, but it’s really not. UGA is obviously very good defensively but there has been a visible drop off.

Tennessee has covered every SEC game spread this year, don't expect that to change today.
Hasn’t Florida been the only game we didn’t cover? And that was due to us letting up. We have smoked the point spread every game outside of that one.

we were talking about him last night. for the life of me, with that talent, I can’t get my head around how UGA is last in the SEC in sacks.

Yes, Jalen was hurt in our opener, came back last week in limited action, so today should be his first full game this season.

Most teams have actively game planned to get the ball out early against us.

Despite low sack numbers, the Dawgs are only giving up 10 points a game. If we keep Vols to 30 or below, we win.

Defending national champs, playing at home against a team that, while very good this season, hasn't proven anything yet. If we were Alabama
and all else was the same, the line would probably be 3 or 3.5.

The line still makes 0 sense to me.

This line is all about 2 things 1) Home Field Advantage & 2) Tennessee's Defense to Date.
Today Banks earns his $$$$ as well as the rest of the Defensive Staff.
Reasoning: They know TN is capable of putting up numbers.
They know that the GA Defense is good even with young and missing key players due to injury.
I don't get it.
The Tennessee Defense is the key. Special Teams may also be a factor in this game.

Uh, that's kirby dumbasses influence on espn. He buys everyone off. If you think a game this big is not going to come down to some ref call for controversy, you are mistaken.

This is the reason for the line. UGA has the 13th ranked pass offense. UT has the 127th ranked pass defense.

Playing disciplined and avoiding penalties is another key to the game.

Two other factors is 1) how many times GA uses the Fake Injury Outlet & 2) Muschamp is notorious for telling his players to PI vs allowing a long strike.
I hope that the Refs are watching for 2)
