So who do you hire?

Tina Langley of Rice is an up and comer that Phil Fulmer could interview. She's done an awesome job at a really poor Rice program

2015-2016 9-22
2016-2017 22-13
2017-2018 23-10
2018-2019 25-3

She has the 6' 9" five star center that transferred from Oklahoma and a young guard who plays lights out, plus she is in a conference that places little emphasis on women's basketball. So in essence, she is in a small pond with the largest fish.

Just my opinion. He beat our men’s team today.

I think we have become delusional at this point and are talking out of our heads. What is more than likely to happen, is Holly will spite all of us by making the NCAA's, win two games, one being an upset, before losing and the cycle will start all over again.

If that happens I hope the fans stop going to the games and then a needed change will be made

Watching the NC State vs Louisville game and Wes Moore was just called for a technical. It’s great to see coaches coaching with passion and great X’s And O’s. NC State will struggle to keep the game close now down 4 starters over the course of the year, but I’d love to have either of these coaches.

Probably right. I want us to make the tourney just to keep the streak alive. If I knew Holly would be fired/let go if we didn’t make it and I knew would get a quality coach I am not sure what I would take.

I hate it BUT people supporting UT need to understand. If you keep supporting a mediocre product by putting butts in seats and buying merchandise, UTAD will continue to give you what they've been giving, a medicore product ... for going on 7 years. What more do you need pushed in your face like a clown does a pie to get the message? UTAD went through a long dry spell where winning was de-emphasized and instead beans were being counted behind the scenes. For change to actually occur to re-emphasis winning again we will all have to make noise or you'll get into the LV program what the football program went through, fruitbasket turnover of coaches every 4 or 5 years with not much success. They'll just put someone out there who wants to win but is not capable of actually winning, you know like Holly Part II.

We've got their attention

The A.D.
The coaching staff
The media
News Sentinel
the announcers
all of them mention social media
(that's sites like this one)
It has undeniable impact

They know we are in a tough spot
There was a time when Michael Jordan was around
Fans wanted to see Chicago lose, but MJ score 40+
Same thing here
Fans want to see the girls make a run but need Holly to lose to ensure "no more"
the team wins in spite of you, not because of you

You pack people around you who will not stand up to you
How do I know this...Because I would have.!
There is no way, as an assistant, I would let you keep remaking the same coaching errors.
You would have fired or loved me by now because I would have been tougher than you
I would have worked my will for you and only, if that didn't work, would I have stared you down
rather than let things just happen
You had a bunch of young lives and a bunch of assistants and admins depending on your growth.

You can't grow until you admit you need to and so far all I hear is them and we, not I

I was very impressed with Mike Neighbors' coaching in the trenches when his Arkansas ladies were down by 7 and tired...his 4th quarter game plan willed them to a win...A&M had 9 turnovers and 6pts in the 4th quarter...Nell Fortson spoke on how much she loved the way he coached and not allowing his team to get themselves down...very impressive tonight...

He is going to turn around Ark quickly I think. He went to a Final Four in only his 3rd year at Washington. That's pretty darn good.

This is somebody to keep an eye on if we don't hire her then another major program will. That's a heck of a turn around at a program that's never done anything.

If a coach is unwilling to feel the depths of hell in their very bones at every loss, analyze why it occurred without fear or favor, and then take steps to correct it on a daily basis (sometimes that is a single baby step) then they have no business making it a profession. Bouncing back after a loss is also critical but the sting of losing is tempered by the great ones who lock their jaws and actually DO something about it immediately afterwards. This ain't 6 year old sports and participation trophies, it ain't tiddlywinks, this is serious sports with serious money and reputations involved and serious positive outcomes should be the expectation in my opinion.
