Would like to see these batters choke up more in certain situations. Bats are about 34" long. Plate is only 17" wide. With the bases loaded there and 2 hit batters already in the inning, Rogers did not want to walk or hit Chavanne. More than likely the ball will get a lot of the plate. Choke up and increase your bat control and bat speed. Oh well.
