So our starting lineup next year is going to look like this...

PG - Trae Golden
SG - Skyler McBee
SF - Cam Tatum
PF - Jeronne Maymon
C - Kenny Hall

With the talented likes of Renaldo Woolridge, Jordan McRae, and Rob Murphy on the bench...

Gonna be a long year boys and girls.

However, I'll be at every home game cheering that crew on.

that is the absolute worst case scenario and the best case scenario for hopson and jones because they can't do better than UT. Tobias is most likely gone and he should be. yes another year would greatly benefit him but if someone offered me a ton of money to play or stay in school i wouldn't even think about it. ware can get a better offer than UT and he may just leave. there is still a lot of time before that roster is due, let's be optimistic

Understandable. Indications are that Scotty and Tobias are both leaning towards declaring for the draft. We can all agree on that, correct?

Then, Ware and Jones could both possibly commit once CCM meets with them, HOWEVER, if both do commit that would be a nie boost to the team... Still a lot of ?'s on the team.

I was more or less just stating that we don't have a ton to start with this next year, got a lot of work to do.

McRae will be playing over McBee

We have five 4* players who could start next year. I don't think that should be not having anything to start next year with.

For the record, when this team drops below .500 when out of conference play ends, I'll be referring to this post and be asking how our five 4* players are doing.

Not trying to be a jerk, or not an optimist, but fact is we're going to have a depleted roster with losing 5 seniors and it's two best players who weren't seniors. It's not gonna be easy to get back to being a competitive top 25 team week in and week out.

Methinks there is some wiggle room between top-25 and sub-.500.

Youthinks correctly. Depending on how the post situation is handled in the recruiting trail we could be from a .500 team to a middle of the pack team (much like this year) depending if we get another reliable big to go with Kenny Hall.

We weren't a top 25 team this season and I don't expect us to be a top 25 team next season. However, I see no reason we can't have a winning record and be one of the top 68 teams who get to go dancing.

Hopson is almost certainly going pro regardless of what his evaluation is.

Brian Williams has failed way more than 5 drug tests.

Swiperboy has been more valuable to the team over the past two years than anybody will ever know.

Out of Hopson, Harris, Ware, and Jones, if one of the four is dressed in orange this upcoming year fans should be extremely happy about it.

Why post these thing with no back up information and then completely ignore everyone that asks? You've obviously seen the questions but for whatever reason won't answer them...pretty :lame:

Go look at his posts in the football forum. I'll believe these.

First, define "hiding". Secondly, you may be mistakenly assuming that any "hiding" of a failed drug test was limited to Pearl, alone.

Take it as you will.

The head coach of an AA bball team cannot single- handely "hide" drug test results. It would take a rather large conspiracy to accomplish that including independent lab, independent lab agent, team physician, compliance officer, assistant AD and AD.

Had BW had five positive drug tests he would have been kicked-off the team.

I repeat the question, source???

You guys are clowns. I'm not disputing whether he knows or doesn't know but to blatantly ignore people asking questions is :lame:

For all who were yelling for Bruce's head. Here we are. How many years of mediocrity will we face? How many new coaches? I believe CM will turn it around, but he might not. We shall see.

RE: Brian Williams, the dude had some back pain. The chronic was purely medicinal, yo. You can't blame a brother for trying to self medicate so he can gravitate. And if someone would have told him when those tests were coming like they were supposed to, it wouldn't have been a problem.

I ran into Brian Williams on campus last year before the spring game and he was high as a kite.. He was riding around in a Ford Expedition and at a red light.. Spoke to him for about a minute and he could barely keep his eyes open and it wasn't sleep deprivation..

THis shouldn't surprise anyone. Look at how he played over his 4 yrs. Up and down you never knew what you were going to get from him. THere was at least one other player on the team that falls into that same category.....

Smoking is rampant among college sports just gotta know how to get clean and when to. Some of the people that i know that do would surprise you, or maybe not.

I could see Scotty not wanting to play for another coach.

He would only half-ass play for a coach who babied him 100 % of the time. Shouldn't surprise anyone he doesn't wanna play for a coach who might actually require that he give effort. I was hoping he would leave after his freshman year personally. Most over-rated / under achieving player since Yarbrough.
