One of my life’s greatest pleasure was walking into the 98 championship game in Tempe Arizona and seeing 50000 Tennessee fans in a 75000 seats stadium. Two thousand miles from home.

My hatred for OSU started in the Andy Katzenmoyer/John Cooper era and was toked after the 96 Citrus bowl. Then after they whined about not being on the 98 title game (a radio station actually had a computer enhanced game between us and them), it went to new heights. Ioved to Louisville (I live back in TN now)and was exposed to more of them than I'd ever known, and the arrogance was amazing. This was 24 years ago before the titles Tressel and Meyer won, so I was astounded at how arrogant they were.

I have no doubt an OSU fan posted on the internet that he saw a Tennessee fan spit tobacco on a Kroger floor. I don't believe it. Oh it's possible and under different circumstances I'd be inclined to believe it, but it just seems too convenient.

And for the jackleg Vol fans here that are embarrassed by the arrogance of our fanbase...

In a game of pickup I don't think anyone would take Will Howard. TBH I don't think he is very good and the Arkansas QB scared me more. I'm sure Nico can match whatever level Howard plays at.

BTW this wouldn't be a top 3 win in our history. We do have multiple titles that would easily be in front of this. Hell, I would still put 98' Florida and Arkansas ahead of this game because they lead to a natty. I think we would have to win the natty for this to even make our top 5

meh'...though it's the most important game in 25 years, I'd peg any wins vs Bama, UGA, and even breaking UF streak as bigger wins than OSU in the past 5-7 years. This isn't OSU of past 5 years or so. I'd peg this game like the Bama game this year...OSU significant edge on paper w/ player ratings, but just like Bama, OSU getting alot of props off legacy.

I love when Osu fans say this is Tn Super Bowl.. like mfs it’s the playoffs 😂 the all high and mighty act bc they know they’re fans ain’t on the same level.

That was a special time and so is right now after the 17 years of wandering aimlessly in the desert. One can see clearly what a poor administration and poor coaching choices can do to a program. Enjoy it for all it’s worth and appreciate it. As a 60 year fan, I know I am regardless of the result tonight.

But I sure would love to see us get a shot at Oregon in the Rose Bowl. Wouldn’t that be an event?

Howard is an underrated running QB. As long as Banks brings the pressure, I think Howard will have issues making quick decisions.

Ohio State has pretty much broadcasted they are going to have rotating linemen on offense. We should bring the boom with them non stop

I can’t wait til game time. All talk finally stops. Ever since this post their board has been posting how they’re walking around campus and/or the city and haven’t seen a single vol fan. Claiming we cherry picked a few smaller bars to meet up at.
