They played Clemson, SCjr and LSU. I hope I don't get on here after the game and everyone's whining UT couldn't run all over them because I think Neal will play well but if the offense isn't finally clicking it won't look as expected.

I hope I'm wrong.

North Texas went ham on them, if we scored 17 with peterman playing half the game against Florida, we should at least score 34 on Georgia. The question is how many points will they score?

7 of that was a pic 6, bro. Not gonna be a close game I'm afraid.

The Georgia d I saw against lsu had learned how to fight. I think we have as good a shot as anyone though. Let's go play some ball and have a little fun.

Are we not expecting the possibility of a pick-6 in this game as well? Murray is not infallible and has thrown a few interceptions this year so there is the possibility of another one in the making.

Not expecting miracles, but many on here weren't expecting to pull off 17 against Florida either.

Actually, 7 of it was recovering a blocked punt and another 7 was a 99 yard kickoff return. I only know because I was there in the stadium snickering.

Won't be close. They have the horses, we got a bunch of rented mules.

Unfortunately, our offense is terrible. No defense is scared of our passing game. Uga will load the box, take away the run, and blitz Worley, forcing bad decisions/passes we've seen all year when Worley faces pressure.
Uga will attack the edges, then unleash the play action and go to tight ends heavily. But, here's to hoping we somehow manage. Go vols!

Their D numbers are skewed by playing Clemson, USC, & LSU just like UT's offensive numbers are skewed by playing APSU, WKU, & USA.

Correct. We also have multiple picks where receivers just missed the ball and our guy was trailing the play and got the int. these would be incomplete passes if our secondary was in their grill because we wouldn't have time to react. There have been very few picks where we jumped the route for a great play.

We've jumped quite a few routes this season. At least two of the picks against WKU and definitely the pick 6 against Driskell were anticipation. I didn't see the USA game, but I heard we made a good route jump in that one also. Yes, there was luck involved in some of them, but that's always true, and ... no joke....I saw us drop a few easy deflections last year. So at least when a lucky pick comes our way, we are making the play this year, lol.

I expect something similar to this.

I honestly don't think they even did a plan for North Texas. I think they just prepped for LSU and winged that game. Assuming they come in flat it might look like this game but by the 3rd they'll be rolling.

I don't disagree but I do hope we do better than N Texas.

It will be a miracle if we score an offensive touchdown

We may not do that well, we could be blown out, frankly, but we can defintiely score a TD or three. On paper, UGA is the worst FBS D we face. Factoring in their tough schedule, I still like the matchup. We will move the ball and score a few. The problem is that they likely will score many.

As rough as we've looked on Defense, it's insane to look at the improvement in those numbers and realize how once in a lifetime awful last year's defense was.

When you can't capitalize on one of the most prolific offenses in UT history there has to be a very nasty backstory. That was an epic cluster on D.
