Some very surprising UGa stats

Another thing OP...no one is "assuming" uga's D is bad. There is objective evidence that they are. They have given up a ton of points and yards, even realizing that they played some good teams. In our NC year, would we have given up those yards and points to Clemson and LSU? I don't think so...a good SEC defense would not have such bad stats, I don't care who they played.

To raise the question of whether Tennessee can exploit that D is legit...maybe we can't because we suck at throwing the ball. But make no mistake about it, the Uga D IS bad, period.

North Texas went ham on them, if we scored 17 with peterman playing half the game against Florida, we should at least score 34 on Georgia. The question is how many points will they score?

North Texas rushed for a total of 7 yards. You can throw on UGA. But we can't throw.

Vegas may be taking into account that UGA just came off a huge game with LSU and may indeed come out a little flat. If we could get Murray out of the game our chances do increase considerably.

Well, knowing our history, I'm sure UGA will have RG3s twin brother over there as a backup just waiting to blow up onto the national stage. Better keep him healthy.

Seriously, our front 4 better get to this guy and our D had better keep him contained on scrambles or it's going to be a loooong day. If we do this, I think we've got a punchers chance. If not, I have no hope.

They just had a tough game, Gurley may not play and they are probably overlooking us and thinking about Mizzou. It is a trap game and we can sneak a win if things go our way...winning on turnover ratio, penalties, and special teams, taking good angles/not missing tackles and being consistent on offense. A tall order but it can be done, especially with strong fan support.

GBO!

We could beat Georgia, but I highly doubt this will be one of the contributing reasons. There would have to be a lot of weird things happen in the football world for Georgia to overlook their rival Tennessee because they are looking ahead to Mizzou of all teams.

The most important facts about this game are: 1- UT is still on a steep improvement curve which means they could become a "surprise" almost any time as they begin to approach their potential as a team and 2- UGA has a history of choking against UT and in K'ville. Richt seems to flat out fear going to Knoxville.

Yeah he really chokes in knoxville, what with his 4-2 record in Neyland.

Good point, but believe it or not, I actually think we are better than N Texas. :hi:
