If Jones worked for anyone but Bruce Pearl, casting aspersions on other coaches without a modicum of evidence of wrongdoing would be a firable offense. Alas, that's one of the benefit of working for 'AA stoolpigeon.
Losers always look for blame as to why they get beat on the recruiting trail.
I'm sure the Tennessee staff has nothing to do with the fact pretty much every article about Selby's change of heart mentions Oregon, Kentucky, Selby's mother, WWWes, John Calipari, and Kenny Payne. I'm sure that's just reporters doing their best Mike Wallace impersonations. The point is, you accuse Jones of 'casting aspersions on other coaches' when in fact, the comments I heard (and apparently hman also) were directed at Nike involvement.
It's not like he's directly calling out Cal as you imply.Yeah, I'm sure none of what Jones was whining about has anything to do with John's relationship with WWWes.

Tony Jones should be the last person in America to decry the ethics of others. It's not like he's directly calling out Cal as you imply.
I'd say Selby will end up at Kentucky, but I still don't hear any quotes about Tony Jones accusing Cal of anything. Regardless of which side you are on, the whole process stinks, you know that as well as anyone. But it is what it is, and while I understand Jones frustration, I agree that making general accusations isn't going to change things.
Of course not. He doesn't have the stones for that.
