Someone Explain To Me

I'd imagine they will put bleachers of some sort on the actual track and even some seats in the infield. If they do this they could probably increase seating to almost 200,000 and make it VERY hard to ever break the record.

Now if they don't do either of those things and stick to just the current seating then this game will not be fun to watch in person. I'm not saying it won't be an experience or even fun to be there, but for those that just want to see the game they will be disappointed.

this will be one that will start on thursday and end Sunday morning...I expect other events taking place,a concert maybe later after the game or maybe Friday night...
this will be a Bonaroo type experience, not your every day game experience....just hopefully without all the hippies...

You think College Game Day will be there? Will be a lot of National Attention and both teams will be in the spotlight.

How is the game in Bristol going to work. I assume the field will be in middle of the stadium, inside the track. So that leaves A LOT of space between the field and the stands. It just doesn't seem like it would be fun to go watch

People will go to be a part of "the event" to say "I was there" more than expecting to go and get a good seat to watch the game IMO.

They have 3 yrs to figure it out. Thank god they haven't left it up to VN to figure things out, We'd have thousands of kids playing video games on a jumboTron.

I'd think that they'll bring in some very large, high def video screens for the even as well. It should be pretty awesome

That will be a good schedule in 2016.

We will play Connecticut, Nebraska, Virginia Tech.

Away games at Georgia, South Carolina, Vandy and an away game against an S.E.C. West team.

Home games with Florida, Alabama, Missouri, Kentucky and another home game with a non conference opponent.

We won't be playing Nebraska in 2016. UConn is still on, will probably be the season opener.

Nebraska has asked to be let out of the home and home because they are going to a 9 game conference schedule. I am hearing the catch fence will be taken down at bms for the game.

not sure they could put bleachers in the turns. That is a pretty steep angle. Even the straightaways are 16 degrees. Could probably get 40-50,000 seats there but I am no engineer.

I was wondering about the turns myself.

That's what I'm sayin'.

Not sure they allow that anymore, though I suspect they will allow beer sales for the game. Back in the day every fan had their cooler full of beer with them at the races. I think that has been limited significantly of late. Not 100% sure but I heard that was the case. Haven't been there for several years.
