He's 2-4 right now with another 3 or 4 likely losses still ahead. He went 8-5 in his best season thus far, exactly matching Jeremy Pruitt's best mark, and one step below Butch Jones' two 9-win seasons.

So there's little objective evidence that you're right.

On Dooley, though, I absolutely agree.

Although that's probably his ceiling, he's doing that with a (being very generous) second tier program. The 3 Stooges did that with an elite program and nearly ruined us.

If A&M moves on from Jimbo, they are going to be going after far bigger game than Beamer.

You don't pay out roughly $70 million so your program can turn a corner and then hire Shane Beamer.

Beamer is at best a poor man's Lane Kiffin.

I'm not so sure Beamer gets another P5 shot after SC cuts the cord after this season or the next. He's gonna have to step down to the G5 at best and make quite a bit of noise to get another shot.

If they buy out Fisher anytime soon, they will have to hire a coach who can pay the school for the privilege of working there. They'll be as broke as the US treasury.
