GTFO. This isnt a coincidence. It's straight BS. Hubbs and the VQ guys are correct...our AD and our great head coach that makes $9MM a year need to speak up. Publicly. In press conferences. Take the fine. Publicly pointing out these ridiculous stats will bring needed scrutiny to the officials that are clearly screwing our VOLS. They hate us because our tempo makes them do their jobs much faster than other teams for no extra pay or benefits to them. Just pressure to get the ball spotted immediately and then do their jobs at warp speed between the whistles. F them. If they cannot handle going fast, they need to step aside and let other folks do their jobs

An around the throat choke hold on a Tennessee defensive lineman is legal in a game called by SEC(ALA) officials. Not just a few, but, many times against Ala,Fla.,and other games have NOT been called by the refs. How about screwing up and call this game and other SEC games straight up for once.My heart can take it.

It doesn't matter why they are doing it, it matters that they are doing it.

Does it have to do with our tempo offense, the fact that bama got penalized so much in '22, or our stomp to the NCAA's throat? Who knows. What we do know, and it's an undeniable fact with data to prove it, is they are doing it to UT.

Go stick your head in the sand and let them continue to manipulate the outcomes of our games. I'd rather it be talked about and people demand an explanation or change.
Every fan base has the people that think the refs are out to get them. You’re no different. Simple fact is the refs are human and sometimes they just suck. Anyone who chooses to find a biased agenda can create one in any part of life.

Not every fan base has a legitimate argument. Every fanbase does have people who would rather stick their head in the sand, ignore the facts, and praise the officials.

If you're too blind to see what the numbers prove is happening, there is no need to continue talking.

lol. No one is praising officiating. We haven’t sniffed a sec championship in how long? A natty in how long? Yet there are still people on here creating silly threads about refs holding us down….like they have a reason to. There would need to be a need to do this. I sure don’t see one. We’re fully of capable grenading ourselves. How will you explain away the arky loss this year? SC last year? Some people just want to be victims. The key is playing good enough ball that the game can’t be blamed on a few lackluster calls. We just don’t do that.

The problem with this logic lies in perspective. Every team has fans who can go in and analyze the officiating and point out how their team was screwed. Officials are human, so in that sense, we're all screwed. The thing that works in sports is, even if the officials screwed up in a call against you, they'll balance it out with a screw up on the call against your opponent. That's how it works in life. Grow up or show some real proof of cheating.
Last year at Bama I looked up the info on the refs. One was a real estate agent from Birmingham, and had pro Bama stuff on his FB page. How is he even allowed to officiate a Bama game?

Well, this sounds a little bit like a conspiracy theory. Allow me to provide a parallel one, ok?

Tons of people thought that the 2020 presidential race was interfered with. My feeling is that there is some interference/cheating on both side of most every election. And therefore, some people complain about this issue.

I firmly believe that if Trump had learned to be civil to fellow political allies and foes, let alone be respectful of people like you and I, he would have won the election hands down.

Do I think refs sometimes have an agenda or preference as to which team wins? Hell yes but, you'd think we'd have enough concrete evidence/admissions on these folks to put an end to it. And that goes for election interference. Always lots of innuendos, assumptions, finger pointing, arm chair QBing, conspiracy theories, etc.

Moral of the story, if you're gonna play sports, you always have to beat your opponents, your opponents fans and, the team you are playing against. Do your job, stay focused and don't let the intangibles beat you.

No, you're wrong, the refs are great! Now go stick your head in the sand and act like everything is just fine.

No one is crying about refs holding anyone down. People are complaining about the discrepancy in officiating and with valid, factual reasoning. Go stick your head in the sand why they grown ups get it fixed.

lol. Let me know where you get with that. I can’t imagine how it feels living life as the victim. How pitiful. Good luck.

Heard on a radio show this week that the books lost upwards of 2-3 Billion dollars on NFL games last week. You had a few upsets yesterday in NCAA. Iowa State got bailed out vs UCF. Sometimes these conferences are going to take care of their cash cow potential teams for playoff purposes. You can keep your head in the sand on this issue. But play carefully today in NFL if ya bet as the books are going to get their money back. Refs do have an impact on calls and non calls in these games and with online betting going on it is probably worse.

Without a doubt. Oh and there were at least 3 shooters that got JFK and one of them was not Oswald.

Oswald was not an expert marksman and could not possibly have gotten three shots off in a few seconds with a bolt action. Never mind the fact that the fatal shot came from the front......Hopefully you aren't buying the BS. If so, why is the CIA still refusing to release all the documentation? I know. Wasting my time. Safe & Effective.

By “intangibles” could that also include biased and / or incompetent officials?

Terrible officiating that hurt both teams. Regardless of my opinion of the targetting rule, the first targeting call against Bama was a terrible call.

Texas got a very big "welcome" to SEC officiating.

I won't speculate as to why, but SEC officiating is embarrassingly bad...
