Almost anything from Mother's Finest.









If you never had the pleasure of Mother's Finest growing up, or weren't knowledgeable of GA rock, this is hte best band you've never heard of. They were largely regional to the south. Still huge in Europe and Germany today. Still have set show dates annually around the south. Been playing steadily since the 70's, and unless there've been any recent changes due to age or health, still original. You can catch them in Middle TN in May or June each year I think at Cumberland Caverns in McMinnville. Black, White or indifferent, you did not go cruising on Friday or Saturday night in high school in any respectable GA town with atleast two cassettes in your car. Mother's Finest and AC/DC. How Mother's Finest was never one of the country's top national bands ever is beyond me.
