Since his name has been brought up I felt this was worth posting. The recruiting trip line sounds really fishy.

How I feel about this news:

Dooley was a losing coach at Tech. Dykes is a winning coach. This UT team this year was not far from being a good football team. Close games with UGA, USCe, Miss St, Mizzou, and Troy. Add 4-5 wins, and most would have been happy with the season. A winning coach could have had us there. Dykes having the #1 offense in the country does not hurt his case for the job.

This!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Also, people who complain about defense, they are called defensive coordinators. Hire one.

Dykes is a really good coach, but his team was picked to win the WAC and finished third. Got out coached by Gary Andersen who is even better

Mike Macintyre>>>>>>>>>> Sonny Dykes

This guy can coach. The only thing that scares me, even though he went 10-2 this year, his overall record looks a lot like Dooley's when we hired him. 16-21

Sonny Dykes is 22-14 as a HC. His team has improved every year in the 3 seasons he has been a coach. IMO, it looks nothing like Dooley's time at Tech.

Among Arkansas names suggested to me: Strong. Gus. Dykes. Fedora. And Ron Prince.

If you hire Dykes, you might as well hire Franklin considering they're co-head coaches.
