Sopranos!!!

Just got finished watching this weeks episode. How in the world can they end this in one episode? Why outsource morons to make the hit on Phil? I am feeling yet another season ending disappointment. Bye bye HBO, hello box office........

So someone who hasn't watched the Sopranos says a show is definitely better?

LOL

Rent the DVDs in order.

BTW, this episode was amazing. However, I can't see how it gets wrapped up even a little bit in the last hour.
I figured it'd be a two hour final episode, especially since Entourage just got wrapped up.

IMO they've already killed off too many characters to make a movie after the show ends. You know many more will get hit in next week's episode.

Hollywood stands to make too much money on a well made Sopranos film. They will not let dead mobsters stand in the way.

I dont wanna make a thread, so i will just say it.

I havent watched the Sopranos, but Entourage has to be the best show on HBO.

June 17th we get the new episodes."Medellin" is gonna finally get made.

i watch both the soprano's and entourage. i can't compare the two, they are to different. the soprano's was getting to slow for me until this season. so entourage had been my fav show, but now the soprano's has picked it back up and i'm just going to say I'm a fan of both shows.

All great shows come to an end.

Most great shows don't come to a great end. I think the Sopranos is reinforcing that. No matter. I'm a die hard fan, I have every episode, and will see how it turns out. Whatever happens, few can argue with the opinion that seasons 1,2, and 3 made it the best television show in history.

I really miss Johnny Sack, and was disappointed that they killed the only Soprano that wasn't a sociopath.
yep...i assume you mean Bobby? that was tough.

i did think it was a bit strange that they went to sicilians to carry out the hit on Phil? and of course, that was a complete mess.

we'll see how it turns out next week, but it doesn't look good for them right now.

The symbolism is getting more and more meaningful. Killing Bobby while he was looking at toy train sets spoke volumes about his character.

The sicilians really make Phil's earlier statements in the show ring true with the viewer. They are making us believe that the Sopranos are rank amatuers in the gangster business. If that was the case however, someone would have taken their business years ago.

I look for the writers to turn on a dime, and prove the competence of the Sopranos in the finale.

yep.

i wouldn't be surprised at that in the least....i guess we'll all tune in and find out.:)

The new paradigm is very entertaining. Isn't it interesting that Tony's love of animals (remember the race horse) and his affection for Christopher's defensless baby are showing his true colors? His most humanizing traits are really sociopathic tendencies.

throw the young stripper that Ralph beat to death in there as well........and the Russian girl........

I am under the impression that it is a 2-hour finale.

It's an hour on my digital cable preview thingy. After the Sopranos it says "TBA" but we know John in Cincinnati debuts after Sopranos.

Keep in mind, the longest Sopranos finale ever was 75 minutes.

i hate seeing Sil go out. he was probably my favorite character.

and i'm glad the spoiler didn't play out. even if it had, i still would have been on the edge of my seat.

i don't think he died. i think they said he was in the hospital, in bad shape, but alive nonetheless.

1% chance Paulie is playing both sides. He's still pissed about being tossed aside when he tried to switch before.

I'm putting this out there - if David Chase tried way too hard for a weird ending, I could see a scenario where Gandolfini wakes up, doesn't know where he is, and we realize he's Kevin Finnerty, and his Soprano life was a dream. I also don't take David Chase for an idiot, so this has about a 1% chance as well.
