Based on what I've seen so far, I question if this team will be all that upset about last years game. Will they have a chip on their shoulders and play with some payback in mind? I'm not sure if that's in this bunch. Hope I'm wrong.

If they scheme right and their OL actually gives rattler 5-6 seconds we will be in a closely contested game. If 3-4 seconds we increase our W factor probably 20%. Two real good receivers with Leggette as the lead ruuster. Live in Palmetto state so need Vols to minimize potential harassment factor.

South Carolina runs out. Then the lights go out and spooky top starts to play. They do the light dance and then pin the lights to the tunnel with the team hype wearing dark mode. The crowd will go wild and that alone will give Tennessee a tremendous edge.

We can make it as loud as any time. As fans we need to carry the fight to Carolina it obviously makes a difference

When they can’t communicate to audible it’s a big boost for us. It also really screws with the offensive tackles they lose a lot of the timing advantage against the edge rush. Rattler is a good QB and has my begrudging respect but I’ve seen far better QB’s wilt under the Neyland noise

If you look at all my posts today I am being Debby Downer. Sorry about that, but, do you guys think we can stop Rattler's legs? Even mighty UGA struggled this weekend with him when he scrambled. I hope we can but Etienne just ran 172 yards on us. Just to end on a positive I do like our secondary and think we can do as good as UGA on stopping the pass.

I think we have a chance of hitting them hard with the pass rush. We’ve got to find a way to get off the field on third downs

The house will be rocking. If we aren’t ready to play that one they need to check our players pulse. What’s sad there is a few on here privately hoping we lose where they can say I told you so. But if we win they will be nowhere to be found, they will crawl in their holes like the trolls they are!!!! Here’s to burying them in the holes and pouring a slab of concrete over it!!!!! GBO

He probably had a 100 on 3 carries. Our D actually shut them down in the second half. I have seen enough ball to know you can’t base what happened yesterday on what will happen 2 weeks from now. They may win, but just like folks did after South Carolina last year the kneejerk overreactions are almost always over the top. Sometimes folks have bad games and bounce back. Teams improve or can get worse from week to week. Lots of football left and way too early to be packing it in. But some folks are just wishy washy, they expect everything to go just right all the time and that rarely happens in football. GBO

I’m getting the feeling the decision-making among network placement was that more people nationally would watch a top 15 Alabama playing an unranked SEC team than a top 25 Tennessee playing an unranked SEC team.

Idk. As a fan I can tell you this offense is painful to watch right now. Last year we were can’t miss tv even for those that were just casual fans. People like seeing an explosive offense that can come uncapped at any time and score from anywhere on the field. This dogcrap we’ve seen this year ain’t it and I can’t blame any network for not wanting to put this crap on.
